We could have gotten more for Stepan if we traded him during the season. Teams knew we wanted to dump his 6.5 before the NTC kicked in. 7th overall and a prospect wasn't terrible, but I would've traded him in season to get more for him.

Ok on the zib trade, I guess a blind squirrel finds a nut once in blue moon. But most of the rest of his trades and some of sathers trades the last 4 years have been bad. We way overpaid for yandle too. And he wasn't the pp savior he was supposed to be.

besides age thou what Has Zibanejad really done that Brass wasn't Zibanejad has had to bad injuries in his time here which has hurt his production but in my opinion he's not a number 1 Center has Talent no question but there are alot of games where you don't even know he's on ice.

I'm not judging Gorton by last year's performance.
They have gone on record as sellers, so if we don't get a good return at the deadline I will be calling for his head.

Him and Brass are comparable but Zib is 6 years younger and we got a 2nd in the deal. If anyone says we didn't win that trade I don't know what to tell u.

Opening night last year was the 1 win vs the Isles in the last almost 3 years dating back to start of 2015, brutal.

I feel that way about Zib. Sometimes he’s real good. Sometimes he’s invisible. In the end, I think an ideal top end second line center.

Totally on point. I like zib but you're right besides age and the other goal in game 5 vs Montreal last year, two big injuries that left him not the same when he came back and he goes through long stretches where he is invisible.

Need guys like Barzal on this team said in interview after game how he raises his level in big games especially vs rivals. instead we get The same robotic tone from Zucc and others about how they thought they did this and that well but didn't get bounces or breaks and Hank with that blank stare in camera sounding like he hasn't slept in 3 weeks.

Rangers posted 50 shots on goal, that's just on goal. Team should had at least 3-4 goals. Halak just owns them right now, 12-1 i think in last 13 games.

Rangers may lack an elite talent, but to say they didn't play with heart or tried. I am sorry, we are all just choosing the easy rhetoric to fit into the view of blowing it up and dumping AV.

Yeah but same thing last game with turnovers and countless other games if it's not an effort or heart problem then it's definitely a hockey IQ problem cause some of these turnovers and mistakes in own end are mind blowing.
