I do. I feel with Thatcher that he can develop into a #1. It takes time with goalies, so it's going to be a process. With Juolevi, I know he's had ups and downs, but we feel he's going to be a top-four puck-moving defenseman

I don't find this unreasonable, the overarching goal is competing and a lot depends on how well guys that step into the lineup play. That said, I don't think Stecher, JV or Hutton were/are being developed "the right way" at all.

words mean nothing. let's see what they do at the TDL and more importantly in the summer. i think they'll continue what they started last year but if they go out and try to sign tier 1 UFAs, they've learned nothing the last 4 years.
