He is a coward. He knew that the Canadian media would shred him apart when he disappears for 20 games at a time.

Massively overrated. Plus when Nash put all the CDN teams on his no-trade list when he was being moved out of Columbus it was easy to lose all respect for the clown.
- LordHumungous

I did not know that about him and Canadian teams. That pisses me off even more.

I don't care how much money is at stake. I don't think I would voluntarily relocate to the US. American society frustrates me.

But man, they got the better deal on climate. And they sure know how to have fun. American's have the market cornered on fun.

Like Loui?
- VanHockeyGuy

Id' argue that Loui is grittier than Nash. But yes, they both suck

Nash has always been very overrated imho. Had his career started in a city other than Columbus I think my opinion would be different. His prime years were wasted with a subpar team.

It's a shame really.

apparently 1040 and 650 polls were also in favor of Benning. I think the negative fans just tend to be more vocal.

Boeser Gaudette and Pettersson saved Jim his job. Also the fact that there was no replacement that was better

lol...no doubt. They sure know how to eat down there too. Last few trips to Seattle and Vegas the meals were fantastic with great quality and huge portions...just don't see that a lot up here...maybe certain places.

I was at pub here recently ordered the Cajun blackened chicken wrap and I kid you not for $17 bucks each half of the wrap was maybe the size of two fingers with barely any chicken and maybe 20 fries served fancy in a metal cup. I sent it back and just ordered more beer...told the staff I would just head to Fatburger and get some value!

I had no idea that Nash lost the calder trophy to Barret Jackman.

Jackman stats: 82 3 16 19 190pims
Nash stats: 74 17 22 39 78pims

Demko and Lind as well probably need to be on that list. The fact that we have one of our highest prospect ratings in team history I'm sure helped Benning along.

The wife and I have made a pledge to never go to the main stream restaurants here in Van. Milestones, earls, cactus club, they all suck now.

What really gets me is the pretentious attitude at some of these places.

If we want a nice meal we've started to go looking on the net for a recipe and try to make it at home. It's worked out really well and it's kind of fun even if you (frank) up.

Listening to IMac yesterday during second intermission he suggested that the offers were not there for Vanek. He even came out and said "Don't you think if they were offered a second round pick , they would have taken it already?".

That brings me to why do you want to sign a guy with very low trade value

This shouldn’t be a surprise. See Vrbata two years ago. And why would we want him? He is our second leading scorer that’s why lol

Sure he's getting low balled if he's getting offers at all. Something tells me JB's not the strongest negotiator either though.

Yes, that’s exactly what the Canucks are doing you want our top score to be a rookie and our next top scorer to be Sedin with 40 pts? I attend most games and I won’t pay for that crap. Vanek is an exciting player that appears to be good in the room

It's Game Day! Again!

Rundown of the Panthers game, checking in on Jannik Hansen and at least the Canucks aren't having a fan revolt like the New York Islanders, in the new blog...

I would agree but the good news it looks like he only spent 10.99 on his new hair color . #LadyClairolForMen

You would think that was the case but it was my wife who suggested we try and cook something really special once in a while. Like a new age couples thingy. I agreed thinking thank god I don't have to be dragged out again with our kids.

Living in Yaletown you get sick of that scene.
