I dont get it either. For the money, More is fine at what he is. Polak again, he has his role on the team. As for Bozzie, if we were paying him 2.5-3-is I wonder if these same people would complain. No problem with him, wins faceoffs, good in the SO and been through thick and thin with the team. Be curious should he walk what he would fetch as a 3rd line Center with those traits.

MLSE should put out a letter to the fan base... like the Rangers did. They should indicate that they will be active up to the deadline, clearing CAP space and expiring contracts, so that they are in a position to acquire high priced FreeAgents come July 1st.

They could go on to say , they are looking bring in players who originate from the GTA and want to be on a winner.

Then just say they don't have anyone particular in mind at this point. Tampering done in public....

I don't really care about moore, altough I'd like to keep Komarov and Kapanen on that line, so if they want Martin to play, I hope moore is the one who sits.

Bozak is the best option we currently have for 3rd line center. He has flaws, but then again, most 3rd line centers do. Like JVR, I think he'd be hard to replace adequately at this time from within, but will likely want a raise after this season, pricing himself out of a job in TO.

I wouldn't mind if the Leafs kept him if he agreed to something like that. Seems unlikely though. He could probably get a lot more in free agency from some idiot GM, but who knows?

There are so many slow defencemen in the NHL. Like 40% are slow. A lot go on to win cups or play really well elsewhere. Leafs fans have no time for certain players, and once they're targeted there's no turning back. Moore, Polak, Hyman, Komarov, Bozak and Martin have all entered this area. There's no turning back for them. Some are finally coming around to Hyman, but not many.

Modern day Leafs fans have no desire for role players anymore.

I get that. I think Leaf fans get upset with players who are expected to play above their capabilities way too often and fail. Its not the players fault by any means, we just jump on them until a change is made. Its weird to see. These guys can be successful when used correctly and their ice time managed properly.

Funny that Blues tampering was with Scott Stevens and the Devils and Lou nailed their asses for it.

Think part of that is use them properly. We have had a LOT of coaches who havent.

Starting in March, Bruins play pretty much every other night until season end.
