Another true Wedgie story: growing up, a kid up the street had a shuffle board table. His dad was a shop teacher for a high school, so it was pretty nice.
So the summer after 1st year university, my brother tells me, "Hey, Family X up the street is selling their shuffle board - $100."
Me: Holy frank, tell him I will take it!"
Brother: What the frank are you going to do with it? Mom and dad won't want it in the basement.
Me: frank that, I will put it in the living room of our house at university. It will be franking epic.
Brother: OK. I will tell them.

Still, bottom line until he becomes a UFA its all just noise. He is Isles property and they will do all they can to sign him including tossing a stupid amount of money at him.
IF and WHEN he is UFA then will see but till then we got what we got here and now. |

Does this happen in nhl ufa circles that another team could or would try to contact a player secretly to find out to prime a deal moths later when he is officially ufa? Tampering???
