Does anyone know anything about defender Colby Sissons? He's having a really good season in the WHL 60pts in 57g with a +48. Also is anyone else afraid that McLoed will be a bust? I know some players take longer to develop but it didn't seem like he improved much from last year.

Everybody is different, that's the thing I really try to take into perspective as each season goes by. For some reason, every year there are players who fall to the 4th round after putting up 100 + points in the WHL or other leagues, then guys like McLeod are top prospects when they've never been near those numbers in the major junior leagues.

Just have to trust the scouts and hope they pan out. I personally try to stay away from the word bust when it comes to such young guys, especially when they're still junior eligible. I mean sure, it'd be ideal if our guys crushed it and progressed numbers wise every year, but sometimes things just don't work that way, especially with some factors behind the scenes we don't see or hear about.

I think regardless, with McLeod's size, speed and skill set, he's absolutely going to be a quality part of the team moving forward, but theres nothing to prove that or disprove it. It's either going to happen or its not. Hopefully for our sake, he can put it all together, because if he does it certainly seems like he'd be tough to contain on a nighty basis, but we'll have to wait and see.

I was talking about Hall not on the pace for 40-50. I did not say every team has a 40 goal scorers. Every team has a star player. And they count on them to do this. When Kovi was playing no one ever said what a year he is having. He has done it for long time.

First of all Kovy was poop for most of his first full season and finished with 60 points. Next season he played with in his prime Parise and had 70 pt Elias on the 2nd line. Kovy wasn't single handedly carrying that team like Hall is this year.
