NAK had 3 primary assists last night for the Phantoms. 11 points in his last 9 games.

He's usually not on the PP, either, although that may have changed.

Has he been moved there permanently, I know at the beginning of the year, and until recently he didn't receive a lot of PP time.

No I haven't seen him out there too much. They actually scored right at the end of the PP which is why Friedman scored too. They still mainly use their big guns on the PP.

1-4, yes.
5, agree, but not happening
6. infuriating how many points they have given away since 2005 - they just never ever get better at this, no matter the players. it's a crucial part of the game now and those points add up and they matter. FIX IT.

Phantoms are 1/11 this season in shootout attempts

It is like these guys are taught to not score in shootouts lol

Don't think we can afford him unless salary is going back. Which would defeat the purpose for them.
- Tfaehner

Im not sure what type of position they're in with the bonuses from the ELCs but they can likely fit in whats left of his salary. Hextall left 2.5 mill in space at the beginning of the season. That translates into at least 6-8 million this time of year.

Correct. Lehtonen only takes up 1.6 million now, but Hextall will surely want to leave some space open for bonuses

Im sure he does but not sure how much he really needs to. They should be able to handle bonus overages next season if absolutely required.

They have the potential for more but I can't see it going over 2.5-3 million.

Here are some of Marner's performance bonuses for example:
Mitchell Marner ($212,500)
$212,500 – 35 assists. Earned March 3 with an assist on Nazem Kadri’s second-period goal.

Still possible (to a max of three):
$212,500 – 20 goals.
$212,500 – 60 points.
$212,500 – .73 points per game.
$212,500 – Top 3 plus/minus on team.
$212,500 – Top 6 ice time among forwards on team.
$212,500 – End-of-season NHL All-Rookie Team.

speaking of bonuses did you see Garapolo's bonuses? He gets paid a ton of money just to show up at training camp, etc

You might not be willing to trade Provorov for Eichel, but your GM would do it in a heartbeat. He would also add Patrick and your 1st this year with no problem.

This honestly, from the Sabers poster, might be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read on this forum.

a couple of seasons ago, nj went 0/13. they missed the playoffs. i'm not surprised by the phantoms either, just because. i do think at some point it becomes mental.

You guys really want to pair Neuvy with Lehtonen? The only thing they'll be battling over is who can get hurt first.

Yeah hard pass. If Neuvirth can play for a stretch and not get hurt that'd be amazing. His track record doesn't instill confidence. His play last night was on and off. He's definitely had issues controlling simple low shots (not even hard ones). Way too many rebounds and also issues covering up on some sequences. Too bad about Stolarz - he had an unreal stretch last season.

The Laughton/Raffl goal in the 2nd period is a perfect example of how the Flyers need to try for goals – especially when up a goal and trying to close a game out in the 3rd. The transition fancy cross-ice/perfect play goals they kept going for are dangerous for a speedy transition team a la NJ/Vegas for getting burnt on the turnaround.
