Smh NVM then

- GERBE!!!75PTS

It’s a BS rumour. But if it were true I wouldn’t hate it. Raffl and Rodriguez make up 2/3 of a good 4th line. Read could be flipped for a mid-round pick or be a helping hand on the farm. Hagg is a d-prospect that we need. Two first rounders are nice.

Rumblings of #Sabres #Flyers deal looming. Offer stands as Kane, Lehner, and Pouliot for Raffl, Read, Hagg, Elliot, and both of Philadelphia’s first round picks. Philadelphia wants a conditonal pick involved, We’ll see. #Sabres #FlyersTalk

From this guy as you know him well, lol

- Lilroot9

Jbotts point of view

Sabres add injured goalie - helps draft pick
Rochester adds more depth for the playoffs
(2)1st round picks

Is that a salary dump for the flyers ?

Anyways it's most likely fake but at least we have something to talk about

Raffl -meh
Read-meh good depth player
Hagg - would be a WIn
Elliot- meh
2- first round picks

These two would just win the deal automatically the rest is just a plus

- GERBE!!!75PTS

The conditional will be the Philly pick being lotter protected if they don't make the playoffs. Elliot will be fine to split time with Ullmark next season, Ullmark could actually benefit from having a capable 1B goalie with him. This is a solid trade on our end, too bad it's probably B.S.

I'm sure there are some who despise this city. I doubt it's too many. We do always have some of the highest percentages of alumni stick around the area. Can't be all bad if the players are choosing to stay despite having enough money to live literally anywhere.

Some of that does come down to being here so long, having kids and school and things of that nature...but that isn't all of it.

Depends on the person. Personally, I would loathe living anywhere near LA, NYC, Detroit or Philly.

I love it here but it's a place to be young a free a place like buffalo is a awesome place to start a family

They’d also be taking on 5.994 mil in cap space for next year......

That is what makes it good for them too. The cap dump / relief.

EDIT: But it would be next year only, so it would not be the worst. And the two guys that make up most of that, Elliot is not horrible and Raffl would be an OK 4th line guy for one more year. So not a bad deal at all for us.

Erod looked fast.
I'm really hoping he has a spot moving forward.

The game was really exciting last night. Pretty wide open, with bad goaltending

- Boss34

Erod RAN those power plays last night. Kid is slick, good hockey IQ.

That's close to gorges $. Fits the sabres timeline.

I'd take this trade with a 1st and 3rd
(2) 1st's. Seams like a lot from their end

We were kidding at the game: Erod was in the eichel spot for most of them.

Chris Ostrander

Just heard from my source that the deal on the table from Philly is Lehner, Kane, Josefson and a 4th for Sanheim, Hart, Lehtera, 2018 1st, 2018 2nd, Simon Gagne, Mikael Renberg, Murray Craven and Dave Schultz

Also

There’s a competing deal on the table that would send Kane to STL for Kyrou, a 2018 2nd, Keith Tkachuk, Jon Casey, Geoff Courtnall and Red Berenson

2 mil more than Gorges.

If they could get rid of Moulsons cap hit I’d be ok with it. The two 1st as it stands now would be 18 and 25.

Take 18 and 25 and trade up for a quarterback.

Are we in cap trouble next year?
Thought we were pretty safe

24.1 mil ( will probably be in the 26-27 range with the cap going up) but only 26 players signed for the organization and 12 with the big club.

So pretty much we can all assume that Kane is going to the Flyers with Robin

This feels like the deal back in the day with Boston and Chris Stewart and it never happened

You might not be willing to trade Provorov for Eichel, but your GM would do it in a heartbeat. He would also add Patrick and your 1st this year with no problem.
- sskkoo1

No way Hexy would ever deal Provorov unless it was for McDavid.

And as Far as your deal. LOL you either severely over rate Eichel (who I love by the way) or severely underestimate Provorov.

If the Sabres season is over, why shorten the Amerks chances by calling up the guys winning down there now?
- JCSabs06

I’m not saying to call everyone up

Ultimately we need to do what’s best for the Sabres
I think for the development of the kids,
it’s good to get them some icetime up here

Obviously we’d return anyone who might be called up before the end of the season so they’re in Rochester for the playoff run

Factor and Samsonite have been everything GMTM signed up for. Thank you GMTM. Sorry you got a raw deal.
- Hatboro_Swords

How are Bogosian & Kulikov & Gorges playing?

GMTM Fd the defense, plain & simple

Did u know McNabb has the 2nd most icetime each night for Vegas?
Another brilliant move
At least Fasching & Deslairiers are doing well for us though...
oh, wait
