It just felt like Ror was the captain last night.

Beast

- Boss34

He was great. It's also hard to describe how good Erod looks in person imo. His shot and his durability are downsides, but his playmaking, his ability to send and receive passes and his speed are really good.

Eichel
ROR
Veteran FA
Erod

for next year and they could look really good down the middle. Erod can captain the second PP. Get him a shooting coach.

Erod looked fast.
I'm really hoping he has a spot moving forward.

The game was really exciting last night. Pretty wide open, with bad goaltending

They won all their playoff games with a backup QB.. Should we go after Foles?

He represents everything the Sabres need more of:

A bottom 6 player with skill, speed and he has more than .33 pts per game.

He says it all the time.

He's always said that he dreaded the trade to Buffalo, but now loves the city.

Yeah I'm wondering how many other players feel that way

thats fine but your not doing both this off season.... and sorry but a rookie qb needs at least a season in the nfl before you could call us contenders.

He still needs some work on his d-zone play like you said, but totally agree. The vet 4th line center strategy is dead. We need a player who can create there and get o-zone draws set up.

Honestly, I'd throw away Nolan, Josefson and Larsson for Baptiste, Asplund and Bailey/Fasching/Pu/Olofsson for the same reason.

That's why I'd throw him in as 4C, and he can fill in with the top 6 when there are injuries. If you match his line aginst another 4th line or a 3rd line, his speed creates matchup problems. The Sabres are in dire need of a defensive center to take some load off ROR. Maybe there will be someone in FA

I'm sure there are some who despise this city. I doubt it's too many. We do always have some of the highest percentages of alumni stick around the area. Can't be all bad if the players are choosing to stay despite having enough money to live literally anywhere.

Some of that does come down to being here so long, having kids and school and things of that nature...but that isn't all of it.

Depends on the person. Personally, I would loathe living anywhere near LA, NYC, Detroit or Philly.

Anyways it's most likely fake but at least we have something to talk about

Raffl -meh
Read-meh good depth player
Hagg - would be a WIn
Elliot- meh
2- first round picks

These two would just win the deal automatically the rest is just a plus
