This is hardly insider info, it was someone I had a brief discussion with while parking my car.

I thought I would post it. He said he had spoken with a sabres trainer. No reason to think he would be saying this without cause.

W. Nylander adjusted well also. Sorry i expect more from an 8th overall pick when a past 24th overall pick and 8th overall pick had success in the same league. Nylander isnt even close to sniffing 0.5/ppg nevermind a ppg

OK, but you're singling out two players.

If every 8th overall pick was thrown into the AHL at 18 and had a ppg, then ok.

But, instead of being allowed to develop at his own pace, because he ISN'T William, nor is he Pastrnak (and idgaf if he was a later first round pick, because as we all know, the NHL draft is a crapshoot), he was force fed into a league he probably had no business "developing" in.

11. I can’t pin it down, but a few teams suspected there was some traction between Buffalo and Philadelphia. Their two AHL teams, Lehigh Valley and Rochester, met last Saturday. It sounds like it depends on if the Flyers’ wish to buy, and they woke up Wednesday five points into the playoffs.

Custance doesn't state the teams. Just says 8 to 10 teams with interest. Out of the 16 potential play-off teams, you can easily eliminate 6 to 8
