It wouldn't surprise me if they call up Nylander at some point, but if they play him less than 9 games, his ELC slides again again. No reason to burn a year. I would rather see Alex for a few games than another Bailey call up.
- Lunaion

Agreed. I've seen enough of the Bailey experiment. He's a 4th liner who can fill in on the 3rd line if needed.

Nylander needs to play with some talent. Of course now our most talented center is out for (probably) the rest of the year.

Hearing the Flyers have offered a "top prospect" for Kane

I was told a Buff goalie was involved, though it's not the spotlight of the deal. I am pressing to get more information, which usually doesn't happen! I was simply told Buff is talking to Philly on a fairly decent deal. A big fat tease!

Why do we want Hoffman? So we can still not have a 1st line winger?

Good god.

And Rick Nash is 10 years too old. NYR are out of their minds thinking they can even get a 1st for him.

He's like Minnesota Wild Dany Heatley at this point.

We need Calle Järnkrok more than either of those guys. Now that's the player I desire.

FWIW the idea of a Domi being on the Sabres is still a bit troubling.

Put him with RoR for a few games, see what he does. Can it hurt?

Both Bailey and Baptise got 1 game on a top line, scored a goal and swiftly found themselves with Nolan and Larsson, playing 4 minutes a night.

But yeah, we've seen enough of them.

Pouliot goes in the dog house and responds by lighting it the (frank) up. If Baptiste and Bailey can't manage that yet, then they should stay in Rochester.

Its not a crime for them to stay in the AHL..the Red Wings are notorious for making players stay they FOREVER before they come up.

Hoffman has never had an elite center and the sabres are light on top-6 LW prospects, depending on how you feel about nylander and whether mittelstadt is a center. I don't see the teams making a deal, but I'd do it

They aren't first line players and haven't played well enough to stay. They should watch some Casey Nelson tape. Earn it.

Hoffman would be an excellent get. The guy is one of the best 5v5 scorers in the league. And he's cheap for what he can do.

Plus 365Canadian would blow his own pants off.
