Amerks recalled forward Justin Danforth..... why? Is someone injured or are the Sabres calling some one up and you know, actually making a trade?

Or is that due to Baptiste being called up the other day?

- Lilroot9

Because the Amerks have been poop lately, and have fallen in the standings compared to the Marlies who are running away with the division.

Also, Matt Mouslon is 6 points from leading the Reign in points.

I have a feeling he'll be a Sabre again in about 2 weeks once Kane and Pouliot are gone

He will have to pass through waivers again too, so maybe, MAYBE some team takes a chance? I'm holding my breath.

Thought on this, if it was after the trading deadline and say Tampa Bay (a team that is sure to be playoff bound) claimed him, could he play in the playoffs?

(because, after the trade deadline, teams can still trade players, but that newly acquired player cannot play in the playoffs, I think)

Someone is probably more knowledgeable than me on this, but I thought the NHL got rid of reentry waivers. I think players only have to clear going down

Old news.

That's fine.

He can be a WWE meathead and live his live chugging beers on cruise ships or whatever he wants to do.

Here's a good rumor:

Spoke with an "employee " of the sabres..

Who has spoken with the trainer:

Eichel's knee is messed up Pretty bad: (left knee)
Sabres are not announcing his injury, but there is some pretty big concerns. Receiving treatment a few times daily.

Sabres are keeping fans hopeful for his return. To continue to sell tickets.

This shouldn't be a huge surprise, jack was folded back pretty uncomfortably

I think we are all very much okay with them shutting him down.

He'll be back hanging out with his buddies from high school in the bar they used to underage drink in. Nothing to see here.

I would guess he would be 4-6 months if it's an MCL. Longer for an ACL.

Depends on who you want to believe on the severity.

Reinhart says that Jack is moving far better than he was last year. If it is an MCL issue on top of the ankle, shut him down and get ready for next season.

You can skate away from a ligament tear. Popped my ACL twice snowboarding. Once it's popped, and the pain goes away, it oddly feels fine. Just unstable. 4-6 months

If the NHL were still using the pt system from before 1999, the Buffalo Sabres would have a pts% of .295 and the Arizona Coyotes would have a pts% of .286.

MTL and TOR have each had 1 season that bad in their 100 yrs of existence (MTL in 1939-40 - .260, TOR 1918-19 - .278)

these are all time bad teams.

BUF was a .262 team under the pre-99 pt system in 2014-15.

And a .244 team in 2013-14.

These are some all-time bad results... being a Sabres fan must really really suck.

A. (frank) off it does suck

If they recall him, and they have the cap space, then yeah. Of course he could refuse and void his contract

I didn't understand that terms of what happened when he went to LA. Man if we could do that I would transfer his 5 million dollar ass to Rochester to save that sinking ship asap.
