U don’t really know what you’re talking about here

A guy who prefers a martini (2-2.25oz of alcohol generally) doesn’t have the same “drinking mindset” most of the time as ppl who order Long islands
99% of the time they’re ordering that drink to get Fd up as quick as possible

Even making one with half the alcohol isn’t responsible
Yeah, they can still get around it & just chug rum & cokes or whatever...
but i don’t need to make it easy on them to get Fd up in a quick time period

I can help control the situation by refusing to make them drinks like that
And i can can space out when i take their order for another drink if they are chugging them

Don’t ever come at me & tell me how to do my job

It’s not your place
And I’m really good at what i do

I take high offense to your unnecessary judgment of situations u had extremely limited knowledge of in the first place

You were way outta line

He’s not wrong he wanted to give Miller and ott long term deals he did not want to tank and he was overruled and he thought he had more power than the GM

He looks even better in person. Clearly the best player most nights is year. He might not be tearing it up in the points department but he is tied for the most points on his team right now with opposing teams matching up their best defenses against him all year. They know who he is.
- TheHank

That's good to hear.

I'd like to know who is a better prospect / excitement level than Casey in all the years if being a sabres fan?

Eichel
Mogilny when he defected?
Pierre?
Perrault?

Can't really think of any that I was more excited about.

i can't claim to know at all, i havent watched a single one of their games. but in the WJC when he was dominating, a lot of things i saw from Minn fans was "wow thats how he looked when he has teammates"
- robz228

That’s fair
It just seems like some are expecting Mittelstadt to be our 2C next year & score 25-30 goals

Expectations seem to be sky high for this kid
And i guess they should be
I just don’t know if he is a “star” right away

Not saying these guys are on the same level but I remember the excitement for Zack Kassian and even Grigorenko being pretty high. Again not really for all the same reasons. Just excitement/hype around them was higher than most. Didnt end well tho

Jesus Christ, dude.

You're a bartender, not a (frank)ing brain surgeon. Get a grip. I know all about drunk bumholes. It's your duty to not serve them at all if they show even the slightest amount of intoxication, not just not make it easy for them.

Except you used it as a throwaway line, like someone is an bumhole for ordering a Long Island. With no explanations as to a particular situation. I don't know what goes on in your head. I can only base it on what is in the comment. And the comment wasn't "a drunk bumhole came in and was being a wiener and then ordered a Long Island and I said 'hey, it's not a frat party'."

What particular situation were you referring to there? (frank) if I know, because you didn't say, you made a sweeping statement:

There's nothing there about bumholes, just about the drink order. You might have intended to say something about a particular incident, but you didn't.

- Wetbandit1

No,
I just didn’t feel the need to explain the entire story
We were talking about sh!thead customers

So them being d!cks was an implied part of the convo

Idc if u missed that or not

It isn’t your place to judge
So F off if you’re gonna be like that

U say i could’ve responded in a better manner to the request for a Long Island...

Maybe take your own advice instead of calling me a douche & ask about why i shut them down like that

You were outta line
Plain & simple

Casey is a star in the making. He is better then all but a handful of current sabres. Why start him on the 3rd line?

This kid is scary good.

When people ask the question about the sabres turning it around , mitts is the answer.

Not a shot at you fitz, but you defend Sam and alex, but somehow have Casey in Rochester or 3rd line center.

I think you are the only sabres fan that isn't pumped.
Dude is a stud. Center 1b with jack at 1a.

I'm sure they give eichel the "c" next spring, but if not, Casey may steal it from eichel

Couple good points.

Kassian's hype was after he played here without his front tooth with reckless abandon.

Grigs never floated my boat.

I remember sitting next to some guy and his girlfriend at the game. This guy kept pointing him out every time he was on the ice and telling his girl about each small move ect. We were clearly watching 2 different games.

I see what you are saying though.

Maybe vanek after he shined in a buffalo tournament?

1) it not only eases Mitts in (by giving him better matchups, etc), it gives us a potential 3rd line that can actually score instead of having something like we do now
*i happen to think a 3rd line that can score will do wonders for us (just like Pitt plays Kessel on line 3)

2) why NOT start him on line 3?
If the Leafs can do it with Matthews, why can’t we?
I’d say a big reason they were successful is bc they had those 3 lines scoring

Makes sense to me to do it the same way
Don’t see a NEED to play Mittelstadt in the top6 right away
