what was this forum like when the sabres were good i honestly can't remember, like what petty poop did we argue about
- robz228

Probably Garth, seeing as he was the main guy. Kevin's threads only ever got a few comments.

It was also like 9 years ago. I can't remember what I did 9 minutes ago.

Prob alot of "Mr. Softie" references for Miller and how Afinogenof would stick handle too much and lose the puck.

I see what you are saying, but some guys are just too good for the ahl. Like eichel

If Sam can come right in (different regime) Casey is going to be a sabre next year. Probably this year.

It's just my opinion , but he looks like an eichel type.
I'm pumped already

- Boss34

Then why isn’t he doing better in the NCAA?
His production isn’t good at all

Spot on. I don't know how anyone couldn't be pumped about Casey... dude's hands are out of control. I think watching him with Eichel is gonna be amazing. Eichel will finally have someone he can play with. It's gonna be wild.

The douchebag is the guy that makes a crack about a "frat party". Not, "sorry, sir, but if I make that drink I'd be over serving you." and for the record, half those martinis at Cecilia's have too much alcohol in them.

Or, also like I said before, you cut the booze in half, which I've gotten every time I've ordered it somewhere. The booze police aren't going to bust in and say you can't make it with half the alcohol.

- Wetbandit1

Thanks there Mr Judgy McJudgerton

Making it with half the alcohol doesn’t stop the clowns from chugging it to get hammered as quick as possible

It’s a mindset that some drinkers have

And if i make a quip at a punk who’s being rude & acting like an a$$hole,
I assure u it’s well deserved

Didn’t think I’d need to lay out the entire story about what d!ck he & his friends were being

But u go ahead & continue to be quick to judge, since u obviously have the answers for a situation u weren’t in

They aren’t a Frozen Four contender,
but they’re FAR from awful

Awful for their standards, sure
But not in general

And I’m not saying Mittelstadt definitely won’t be here next year
I think he should be our 3C

Again...
idk if Botts feels that way

He's better than Eichel right? He had a, barely, higher ppg than Eichel.
- Wetbandit1

He also played on a stacked Michigan team and his line was known as the CCM line. Very rarely do you see a line with two first rounders and a second liner all bound for the NHL in College hockey. Connor-Compher-Motte

You were speaking in generalities about the over serving.

And yeah, what does it matter what the drink is if they drink it as fast as they can? You're the guy with the power.

And I also said in the very first comment that the crack was dependent on all the other rules being followed. i.e. if they were being a wiener that's one thing.

It stemmed from a conversation where we were talking about customers that acted like a$$holes

U jumped in with unnecessary judgements, without any knowledge of the particular situations we were discussing

Yea man its cool I get it. Totally agree that there are high expectations. One thing he has going on for himself is his defensive game. Pretty advanced for a player that young. I think that will help his transition to the NHL and could avoid alot of the struggles most young players experience.

Fun fact. Max Domi has never improved his offensive numbers since his rookie season. 0.64 ppg first two years, down to 0.42 this year. One has to wonder if that makes his value weaker than perceived.

U don’t really know what you’re talking about here

A guy who prefers a martini (2-2.25oz of alcohol generally) doesn’t have the same “drinking mindset” most of the time as ppl who order Long islands
99% of the time they’re ordering that drink to get Fd up as quick as possible

Even making one with half the alcohol isn’t responsible
Yeah, they can still get around it & just chug rum & cokes or whatever...
but i don’t need to make it easy on them to get Fd up in a quick time period

I can help control the situation by refusing to make them drinks like that
And i can can space out when i take their order for another drink if they are chugging them

Don’t ever come at me & tell me how to do my job

It’s not your place
And I’m really good at what i do

I take high offense to your unnecessary judgment of situations u had extremely limited knowledge of in the first place

You were way outta line

Except you used it as a throwaway line, like someone is an bumhole for ordering a Long Island. With no explanations as to a particular situation. I don't know what goes on in your head. I can only base it on what is in the comment. And the comment wasn't "a drunk bumhole came in and was being a wiener and then ordered a Long Island and I said 'hey, it's not a frat party'."

What particular situation were you referring to there? (frank) if I know, because you didn't say, you made a sweeping statement:

I laughed pretty hard at some of them

“Order another Long Island”

I’ve literally told ppl “it’s not a frat party” when they’ve ordered that
Hahaha!

- jdfitz77

There's nothing there about bumholes, just about the drink order. You might have intended to say something about a particular incident, but you didn't.

I have high hopes, don’t get me wrong

I think he could be a good 3C pretty quickly & anchor a 3rd line that can provide depth scoring
