Right. That’s what I see. He disappeared and was disinterested half the time these last two years.

Good player. But we don’t see it enough.

- sbroads24

It took a new coach and gm for the bills to ship out guys with effort/attitude problems and look what it did, year one. A couple of the "most talented" guys on the roster get moved and they make the playoffs. Vegas gets a crew of castoffs that actually give a (frank) and look where they are. Sam and ror are two of the guys that have shown inconsistent effort on this team.

Alex Nylander has 2 goals this year, in the AHL.

This isn’t looking great, wonder if he’s part of trade discussion

- sbroads24

What to do with him?

Keep him in the AHL,
even though it’s not working

Give him some time up here,
even though he hasn’t earned it

Trade him,
even though his value is likely down

Idk what to do with Nylander?

There's been rumors going on 2 seaosn now that the locker-room was divided between the ROR camp and the Eichel camp, numerous videos of ROR blowing Eichel off after games or goals, I've seen it plenty other times myself during games but regardless, his off-ice attitude, mistakes and issues are well documented and so is his "secret" chronic back-injury form that Timmy Hoe's crash.

Either way, it was just a scenario.

- BeadyEyedDouche

Don't believe what you you read, players were getting tired of Eichel and his childish antics is what it was and ROR spoke out as did a few others.

Losing does that to players

Agreed.

But in Vegas’s case, they got actual good players that GM’s just let go.

I’m amazed they got Theodore, Marchessault and Karlsson, and we’re paid assets to get them

Lack of talent is something i can get over. Lack of effort, pack your poop up and get out. Effort should be standard always in all ways.
- TheHank

I just don't see it. I mean I know he had a terrible stretch to start the season, but I don't see the lack of effort.

Someone here actually brought up this scenario recently. What if it is our "golden boy" who is the real problem? If so we are (frank)ed.

Avs had 8 rookies in that line up

Jost, Compher, Kerfoot, Toninato, Greer, Girard, Lindholm...Mirinov a healty scratch but also one

They are young and dumb

- DDM-Coga

Rookies we could have in our lineup next year:

Ullmark, 1st round pick, Mittelstadt, Guhle, Nylander, Bailey, Baptiste, Smith, Fasching

Thats 9- all should get some time if they’re still in the organization

Eichel is still a kid, childish antics? And driving into a Tim Hortons wasted and having your friend drive off isn't childish antics?

Speaking out isn't being mature, it's pointing the finger.

Eichel was drafted to be the face of the franchise, he has every right to be entitled. Drafted into a sh!tshow of a team no less.

Look at McDavid almost in tears after that lottery that year and his miserable team pics.

Its been said that his effort has gone up in the last two games.... Doesnt that in turn mean his effort was lacking beforehand? Fishy.

The media certainly doesn't think so. Most of them believe he's showing leadership on and off the ice. But what do I know.

shouldnt be a problem when he finally grows up. I think we may have already begun to see him mature. The last 15 or so games before the injury Eichel was mostly playing a complete game and the pouting seems stopped happening as often.

I think it is probably a combination of the two things. RoR wants to be the man, is upset that regardless of the childish attitude Eichel is still looked at as the number 1 on the team.

Imagine if they took more good players instead of getting paid picks to leave them alone?

I wonder if they take a step back next year though?
They seem to be over performing

you made a comment and i'm telling you, Crosby had issues to when he was young but got them worked out. There are times Eichel has had issues with what he says in the locker room and his antics. Just because he was drafted and is the face of the team doesn't mean he's not wrong.

Ok , so it's bad that ror played great last night?

Bet he steps it up the rest of the year. Like a leader.

Watch Sam revert to first 45 games Sam.

This board gets confusing at times.

Guy plays good - he's selfish
Guy plays bad - value is UP
