What’s weird is everyone hates Kane because he only scored 30 goals once. He has been on a 30 goal pace other times but due to injuries he never got there. Crucified for it.

Jack has never scored more then 57 pts in a season, he has been on pace for more but also due to injuries never got there.

Just wondering why some can’t call Kane a 30 goal scorer but can call Eichel a 90 point guy, when he’s never been close.

Nobody called Eichel a 90 pt guy except maybe grebe. But Eichel is the guy who makes those around him better, he's proven that. Kane, is really one dimensional, he accepts a lot of passes, shoots most wide, and some, sometimes go in. When have you ever said, "Wow! what a pass by Kane?" It's never happened, because he's not a great hockey player. He's a strong hockey player, a power forward, who can bully his way into getting some goals. He's not franchise, he can be replaced for a lot less than 7.5M

Bonehead play by Risto on that PP. But does Lehner ever make a breakaway save? He needs to bail his team out in a situation like that.

I signed Carlson at 7mil instead of Kane

Added Guhle, Mittelstadt, Nylander & Svechnikov all on rookie deals

And that still with Moulson buried (counting 4mil against the Cap), maybe tradable?

It’s been said on here that we could move Bogo
So there’s an extra 5mil

And Pommer is off after next year,
that’s another 5.6

I much rather over pay a good player like oreilly or Eichel then over pay an average player like Moulson or okposo. Those are the ones that get your cap killed.

Add 1mil for Ullmark
Add 1mil for Nelson (to replace Bogo)

Now we are at 76 mil

That was last summer, I doubt anyone touches that deal with 10 foot pole now. I doubt we have a shot at Carlson, we're not in a position to really be after high end ufa's. Not yet anyways
