So they win on consecutive nights despite being outshot significantly and Gudas manages to score a goal. I can’t figure this team out, but I like it anyhow. As a bonus, NJ lost so we gain some ground there too.

Can’t say how refreshing it is for this team to be good again.

Keep it going.

I told you non believers yesterday. 4 point trip baby! They have been doing this poop ALL YEAR. They beat Stl at home when they had only lost twice. Broke the Bolts 9 game home streak, beat the Caps in DC. Why wouldn't they beat Vegas at home?
Go Flyers.

Pens will win the Metro Caps flyer first round as the 2 vs 3 caps is a one man band great chance

The GK had the much better advantage in play but they also threw a lot af shots on the net just hoping for deflections or rebounds. Some of their better chances missed the net.
The Flyers prolly didn’t deserve the win but who cares. Thought they played a decent third period.

I hope not I want no part of the Caps in the first round. I think the Flyers could beat the Pens tbh, they've played a lot of hockey these past two seasons. The ideal first round match-up for us would be NJ.

Good a guess as any, but though he was never a great puck handler, these days he handles it like a live grenade.

Whelp...my annual trek from Kentucky to Columbus is coming up on Friday. I have not seen the Flyers win a game live since I moved to Kentucky, mainly because Nationwide Arena has been a black hole for Flyers wins. Flyers have not won in Columbus since December 13, 2005. That is 12 (frank)ing years!

I moved to Kentucky in 2006. It is a 3 hour drive for me to see a game in Columbus, and I have seen 6 or 7 of those damn losses (they've lost 11 straight there). As long as the weather holds, me, my 8 year old little dude, and my 5 year old little dude are going to do it again....hopefully to a better outcome

In that time, I've also seen one game in Nashville (a 3 hour and 15 minute drive)...also a loss. Oh how I long for the days when I lived in DC area, would go to MCI/Verizion/whatever it is now Center and see the Flyers pummel the Caps and half the crowd was wearing orange and black. I was downright spoiled. Please end the drought boys!

Instead of Gudas? I'll give him crap for his puck handling, but he has a cannon for a shot and he forces other teams to keep their heads up, even if he is playing a little more restrained. I think one of the Flyer's longer losing streaks happened when Gudas was out. I like him out there. Has he turned into this season's whipping boy in here?
