He always has been a good player, he is just getting a better opportunity now as well, not being asked to shut down the other teams top player(s). He always did have offensive numbers in junior and remember was projected to go 1st overall if it wasn't for him getting mono his draft year.

I was joking. He's moved into star status. Amazing breakout offensively and still good on d. Great 1 c. Just love this. He goes to the net with reckless abandon and creates for his wingers who are also playing great.

Just love it. I'll say it now, I'd love to see us make the playoffs in the 1 to 3 seed in the division. Get a decent first round matchup with home ice and win a round.

If they do that, although progress won't be linear to a contender, were on our way imo In a year or two, add more of the kids who deserve it after maybe some time in the a, then flip some picks or prospects as required to supplement the roster and take a major run at the cup for an extended period, while continuing to draft well and stick the pipeline.

If Couturier keeps his game up he has to be front runner for Selke.

I was always worried about his o. Thought he could do more. He's still a young guy and it takes time. You've also put him with some major talent and confidence is big.

You know, I do too. I never get as excited or nervous as I do for playoffs. I want to see them again, but I think we can have both. Some playoff hockey and then true contending in a couple years, where my nerves will really be tested. Nothing I want more than to visit philly for a parade. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. The flyers are my fave sports team and it's not even close.

Reputation award. Coots leads Bergeron in most everything but plus minus. I didn't look into advanced stats etc. but Coots leads in esg, gwg, ot goals more 5v5 goals.

I don’t care about a parade really but I’d like to visit for a Stanley cup final playoff game. That’s bucket list kind of stuff.

Part of me really just wants to see G get one. Players of that caliber are not easy to find. Being able to contend with him still productive would be huge.
