We really don't have a good Bozak replacement, despite how much a lot of people would love to get rid of him. I'm not really a big fan of his myself, but we simply don't have another good option. All of the other options are either 4th liners or wingers that "maybe" could switch to center.

Agreed there. Was spitballing in the report of interest in Maroon. Hence Nylander or Komarov moved to center. Only way that would work as frees up the wing soot taking Bozak out via trade for whatever asset

I was thinking the same thing. McDavid is doing the same thing to his poopty linemates that Tavares was doing for years. Making them look far better than they really are so other teams can screw themselves over by massively overpaying them. Then those GM's are surprised when they don't produce at the same rate when not playing with McDavid/Tavares... What a surprise!

I bet it is true for one reason. It makes sense. They're making the playoffs and aren't selling off an important part of their offense.

Maybe we can find a replacement for JVR from within eventually, but if we trade him at the deadline, it will hurt the team a little this year, and I just don't think management will do that.
