Interrogating about health history is part of what I do for a living.

Sure you will be fine, poop happens!

Only if he’s hanging in the bushes outside BiggE’s Keywest retreat....then I’d be concerned.

I'm interested as well, I want to know what those other bags are.

Antibiotic, hydration, and.....are your electrolytes off? lol

Unless they didn't speciate your bug and are just keeping you empirically treated. But if they went in there it doesn't make sense to not culture anything. Maybe results aren't in yet. Probably that one and they'll streamline soon enough

Bill I know you never go into trade speculation, rumors and all that fun garbage but what is your honest opinion on what the team should do this deadline, No specific names but should they be looking to add for a run, lord knows as a fan we never want to just say "its not our year" LA showed the ability to squeak in and win it all multiple times and this team is still loaded with potential, skill and honestly in my eyes an ideal mix of youth and "vets" Would love to see a pickup to help the PK out, only thing really killing them.
- GPerogie

Would like to see the team add a veteran D who is an upgrade on Manning and a PK forward with speed. But I think Hexy will more or less stand pat.

I’d be happy with a guy like Sceviour from Florida. Good on the PK, can play multiple positions and won’t cost nearly as much as Grabner.

Kuemper, Grabner/some other decent speed guy and decent at 5v5 but good on the PK , and I dunno...Schlemko? He's a decent 2 way player who is cheap. Isn't he? I was just racking my brain for someone affordable.

Admittedly I don't watch the guy day in and day out

They definitely need help on the PK. Shouldn't cost much for that

I personally wouldn't push the envelope for goalie help this year. I understand the concern, but I feel that's where you could find yourself giving up more than necessary for it.

That's true, but at the same time a 30 year old Keumper shouldn't be that expensive right? Not like he's the goalie of the future like everyone thought Lindback or Lehner was, you know?

The goalie market is pretty unpredictable though that's no secret

I forgot. Your in America.

I’d have to get em with a well placed sling shot or shoot him 47 times with a pellet gun.

I just don't want to see Lehtera and Weise out there with Manning and MacDonald on the Pk. I mean...come one guys. No wonder they're 29th in the league.

But the thing is look what 3 trades and a callup would do. Suddenly, you're looking at

Couts Raffl Prov Gudas
Someone else Lindblom Amac someone else

If those someone else's are even league average PKers, then the 4v4 look is adequate

If the price is right I'm okay with it. But it's only one more year of Elliot next season then they can see where they are.

You're absolutely correct that the guys you mentioned shouldn't cost much. If this team was a goalie away from contention I'd entertain the idea alot more.

Lehtera , Filpula have been beyond abysmal killing penalties of late....even when the other team doesn’t score it’s a fiasco in their end. The whole concept of Lappy’s passive PK hasn’t worked in 3 years....I understand Hextalls philosophy....but my god....grow a set a at least try and address the problem.

I don't see Hart up here until 2020 full time. It's going to be a few more seasons of stopgap goalies imo

I think they re-up Elliot on another 2 year deal and then go after another guy to form a 1a/1b that they originally wanted with Neuvirth. Maybe Aaron Dell? I've always liked Kuemper too, like I've mentioned.

Hey BiggE how you doing in the keys? I chuckled the other day when you said you were sick, but still better then being in Philly cold. I was thinking the same thing, had a cold which rolled in to nausea and vomiting. Thought this is the flu.
Wrong answer. Had a blister on my foot which was now infected. Long story short, been in hospital since Wed night and they amputated my little toe and some other bone. Waiting for results of an MRI to see if they got it all. So all of you hockey buzzer, please keep me in your thoughts, I can use some good vibes.
Of course I missed the only (frank)ing Superbowl parade ever. I hope I recorded it.

Oh, let's go Flyers.

- jaws1955

Damn..nothing about that sounds fun..its like being stuck on a forum with only JoeGrief and the Clown That Shall Not Be Named.

Hope it gets better

If it's a full 2 season until Hart, I'm with you then. Stick with what you know in Elliot, and get somebody better or at least more durable.

I just wish Elliot would get those numbers up. He's been pretty pedestrian this year IMO.

My guess is Hart spends one year in the A then he’s here in 19-20. I think they’ll extend Elliott for 2 years to give him a vet partner/mentor for his 1st 2 NHL seasons. He’ll still be on an ELC so there will be no cap issues. That takes them through 20-21 and hopefully by that time either Sandstrom or Ustimenko is ready to come up.

This is what I am wanting to see in addition to a better backup option for Elliott but I know that's not very likely.
