Will say again. Just a vibe.

Think Elliot will be back soon. Neuvirth will be fine for a while.

Hak needs a talking to, to not ride his goalies into the ground. It’s a trend his whole time in Philadelphia.

- flyer_nutter

Yah..I'm not seeing that as why Elliot got hurt..

Players ger hurt in hockey..I dont think him playing 2 or 3 games since his return had anything to do with what happened tonight

To be fair Mason was a total head case about being the starter. Every time they tried to split duties his game would fall apart.

That's no excuse for this season though. I'd be interested to see how many goalies have played as much as Elliot so far this year.

they have 2 D right now, then hold your breath for the keystone cops aka the bottom 4

gudas is making manning look good

- wcorvette

Gudas is disappointing.

I think him basically being forced to tone his game down has taken out a big part of what made him effective. Vanilla Gudas is a poopty player. He kind of did it to himself, sucks to see - I like him.

Sanheim has 8 points in 8 games in the minors rn I believe, I'd call him up. If they don't I would be interested in them taking a run at Gudbranson maybe but I've heard he's been pretty bad this season so not sure if he really would be much of an upgrade. The Hagg-A Mac pair I can live with just because MacDonald is capable of putting together decent stretches of games. The Gudas , Manning pair is atrocious out there and it needs to be addressed somehow.

Sounds like a plan. With the steps forward from Konency and Patrick I think the time is to think a little bigger then stay the course. Hexy won't trash the pipeline, but he certainly can add some more pieces right now. I haven't even mentioned Provy and Ghost who are terrific at 5 on 5 together. No way I want them broken up.

Meh. I would have liked Neuvirth tonight. Think Elliot has been ridden pretty hard overall.

Easy to say in hindsight.

I’m going to call some out.

I don’t like the idea of trading Morin. You put so much (frank)ing time into developing him. To not see what he can do at the NHL level would be a bit of a stinger.

Trade golden boy Manning (frank). With the love affair he has in Philly he must have value.

Yes is an acceptable answer.

I like Morin , I think he brings a lot the Flyers could use. I'm not for trading him, but if it's in the right deal I'm not going to be opposed. Depends what's coming back the other way though. The way Gudas and Manning are playing makes me wish he was healthy , maybe he'd get a shot. Tough season for him with all the injury trouble.

I agree I don't want too see Hextall stand pat. He at least owes it to Giroux and Voracek to try and do something.

If it's fair value it's fair value. It wouldn't be like they just cut the kid for nothing.

I'm not in a rush to move him though. Honestly I'd probably sooner move Sanhiem in the right deal.

Like I said before it looks like a groin injury to me. If so who knows when Elliot would be back. Groin injuries are very tricky , could be 2 weeks, could be 2 months. The slightest little tweak can aggravate the groin too which makes it even harder to recover from as a goalie. Here's hoping it's something else

Exactly and Coots will be a Selke finalist. I don't understand let's wait till 2020 when Hart is ready. Make some tweaks, certain prospects are untouchable my guess Myers, Sanheim, Hart, and Frost and keep the 1st round picks. Outside of that time to start to burn a couple assets for improving the roster.

Mrazek is probably available, is on an expiring contract and could probably be had cheap. Not a sexy name but you could probably tandem him with Neuvy and get by.

Needed that shootout win!

Sucks about Elliot, and it did not look very good for him the way he came off the ice, he looks like hes going to be out awhile, and back comes Lyon

There were a few times tonight that the 4th line got matched with Amac and Hagg and got dominated in their end, 4th line was not good at all tonight. That experiment HAS to end.

Yup and the same for Hart, Myers, Lindblom, Rubtsov, Frost and any #1 picks.
