Seeing him in person, I completely agree.

He went from " barely noticeable" to "there's Sam again".

Do you think the disappearing act has jbotts worried about paying him?

JB is a smart guy, and he'll factor everything into his analysis.

It would not surprise me if he offers a 1 year deal due to the first part of the season with how Sam played.

I'm probably low on my offers.

Anyone have any comparables?

Feeling better about Sam lately

8.5 for Leon x 8 . that's not looking as good as it was

This is a list of everyone who filed for arbitration last year, they all signed before arbitration but it gives you an idea.

With salary caps going up and the salaries of players going up with it it’s tough to compare salaries of players who signed deals even as early as last year. If you account for inflation 4.25 last year for arvidsson is probably closer to 4.75M now.

I agree completly, jack makes everyone look good.

I think his line play will be indicative of his importance to jbotts

Playing with 15 the rest of the year= see you Sam

Playing 3rd line center or without 15 = sabres extention

- Boss34

What do the following players have in common:

Girgensons
Moulson
Okposo (2016)
Pomminville
Bailey
Foligno
Pullout

Hint- the commonality has to do with disappointment and playing w Jack.

That's awesome , thank you

In my opinion: Alex galchenyuk 12 g 20 a this year

Picked 3rd overall. 2012 Similar stats and points.

4.9 a year for 3?

Did he have a bridge deal, before this contract?

I'm not a Sam fan, but he is playing better. (Eichel factor)

If we draft a nhl ready defender this year:

Dahlin (sure)/ boquist - risto
Guhle - scandella
Nelson, antipin, borgen, McCabe, blowgo

We may need a top 6 forward ( last 10 games sam) more then a #4 d

- Boss34

Boqvist isn’t NHL ready from what I’ve seen
5’11 and only 170lbs
He’s an amazing skater, but is probably gonna have to hit the gym for a couple years before he comes over

Also, he’s RH
So it’s unlikely he’d be paired with Risto
