to be honest with you, I dont know how we beat the Flyers 5-1 and the Sharks 6-5 within the last few weeks
and it's hard to see another win coming anytime soon - jimbo83
My gf asked me last night, how come i can't remember the last time they won.. |

AV has to go.. ADA is a horrible player and should not be playing. He couldn’t stick with the Coyotes.. At this point why not bring up some other D-men to see if any of them can play. Graves has been one of the last cuts the past 2 or 3 yrs why not give him a chance? You also have Gilmour and Pionk. Can they play any worse than the other clowns we’re putting out there - Gravy869
ADA was a throw-in on that trade. Yotes GM felt bad and tossed him in to make it seem like a better deal. Kid is an AHLer; nothing more. |

The year is going to end as bad as possible. They will miss the playoffs and only end up with the 8-10th range for a draft pick. |

Can't buy out Smith!!! WAY TO MUCH LOST $$. Like others have said, the whole D have sucked this year. Lets see if he come to camp in shape and hopefully, hopefully, the moves this season and offseason stabalize the back end. I don't think any one in the locker room has their head on straight. They are all doing too much and not playing sound positional hockey. - rrentz
Brendan Smith is not the issue. You hit it on the numbers--the ENTIRE D has been dreadful. Smith is everyone's scapegoat because he's the vet that signed the new contract in the off-season. I have absolutely no issue with Brendan Smith; my issue is with the system they are playing in. Bunch of stick/poke checking wh0res. I just can't stand that. |

I think ADA is serviceable and this "system" is making him look worse than he is. AV has to go. I don't know how much more of him behind the bench I can take.

Brooks with a really good article about the Rangers and AV as coach.

Not quite the typical Brooksie article. A bit more humble and well written. I get a sense of hopelessness in there - wonder why... |

Better add in Buch and Skjei too |

I think we all agree the team has quit on AV and has tuned him out.
Every player has just coasted in the last few weeks, so I don't think its fair to hone in on one guy, because EVERYONE is guilty.
Therefore let's wait and see when you cut the cancer known as AV out, what effort guys put forth under the new coach (Yes I'm certain AV is gone) - MiloslavHorava
Some players do not like his system or him as coach. This is coming from the players mouths..... |

It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the year plays out. As I said last night, there are still 29 games left!! If they don't fire AV before the end of the season, there is a real possibility this team could be the 4th or 5th worst. Edmonton, Detroit, & Montreal are only 5 points behind them, with 2 games in hand. This free fall could continue, especially after the trade deadline.
I don't know the percentages for each team getting the #1 pick, but we could have a good shot at it. |

A year ago, most said it was gonna be one of the best draft classes in years. Not sure anymore. Top 5 looks strong though... |

Detroit, Florida and Edmonton all have games in hand. Rangers need to continue to lose and they can slide from 9th to 6th. Then make a couple of trades. Just gotta hope for a little lotto luck. |

Right now the Rangers have ~5% shot at drafting 1st overall |
