Some good back reading in this and the last blog.

I find it very 8nteresting that there are different camps on SoS, no not poop on a shingle..State of the Sabres.
- They are close, those who believe 2 - 3 players will change the team significantly
- Burn it to the ground, those who believe neRly everyone no name Jack Eichel should go
- They aren’t close, those who believe the do have several pieces for the future but need a serious infusion of talent up and down the lineup.

Through back reading, I find An odd collection of observations...
From the They are close camp I read about:
- 14 named players who should be gone. Perplexing.
- The need for 3 top end talents, #1D, 2 top six scorers. One wonders about the Goalies, the bottom six and who the other top 6 player is assuming Jack, Eichel and Okposo are 3 of Top six
- insist that the top 6 isn’t the problem, but the bottom six need to be significantly improved
-Think it is great that 50 games in, a #2 overall has played good for the last 10 games.
-support a one-dimensional play of you assumed future captain and therefore leader of the team.
-sight losing by one as some sort of moral victory, when the team is the lowest scoring team in the league at just over 2 per game....1 two goal improvement to win is the same as doubl8ng their production
- indicate they expect 1 maybe 2 trades...meaning no other team wants our obviously talented players

But hey, I must be the crazy one.

Arvidsson and Nylander comparables are not swinging for the fence. Johansen is.

I'm not advocating for a long term deal, just challenging people to take his agents side on this. If this ends with a 2 year @ 3.5 per deal, it's great work by JB.

Usually those type contracts are 1 or 2 years bc the player doesn’t want to be locked in for 3yrs at a lower number than they think they’ll be worth

but I’ve been having some issues lately

Mostly having to search through like 5-10 (sometimes more) links to find a movie that’ll play for me

No one in our perceived “core” has been around for more than 2-3 years

Mentioning the previous failures has zero bearing on whether or not THIS group can become a playoff team

We all know how I and a couple others feel about Pegula, though in the minority, he's been horrible as an owner besides one phantom Bills playoff birth.
