imo, and i'll probably never be convinced otherwise, the main reason that the bills didn't make the playoffs for all those years is because the pats dynasty was in the east...there were a ton of other factors, including poor qb play, but that's the main reason
- Michael Pachla

As a Jets fan...I support the fall of the patriots dynasty.

But there’s tons of inconsistencies too

Those guys u listed are studs that will be at the top of just about any offensive stat category

If it’s indeed accurate...
please explain the Chimera v Tavares stat i posted

I do this last week too when u brought up 5v5 stats & listed a bunch of guys who had more than Erik Karlsson this year

I don’t think the stat holds up

- jdfitz77

You don’t understand these stats. And I’m not being an ass, but you don’t.

Last week, efficiency stats don’t hold water.

This week, raw 5 on 5 numbers are misleading.

Either you don’t get them or are stubborn. Probably a mix of A and B.

As far as Tavares vs. Chimera, it’s called an outlier. It’s possible for players to have good years and others to have bad ones. Doesn’t mean it repeats itself.

Ryan O’Reilly scores like a 3rd liner at 5 on 5. Period. He isn’t that good at offense

yet kane's 25 5v5 goals meant little or nothing last season
- Michael Pachla

Carolina 2nd
Chicago 3rd
Calgary 4th
Edmonton 5th
Pittsburgh 6th

5 teams with best corsi numbers in top 6

they may all miss the playoffs

How does that equate to money being an issue?

Not being a part of revenue sharing would just be an idiotic move on his part.

5 on 5 points

Joel Armia on the 3rd line - 17
Ryan Selke O’Reilly - 15

- sbroads24

What's the brealdown of his other 21 points? I checked his stats on NHL.com and they don't make sense with what you posted.

They do when you literally suck that hard or are that good at them.

They definitely pad stats too.

you're raising ticket prices for a franchise that in the last four and a half years has had two last place finishes, a 23rd, a 26th and now have an probable 30th place team...the Sabres have won 69 of 189 home games...

you're right, they're not idiots, season ticket holders on the other hand....

I asked because I saw he only has 11 points between power play and short handed, and I would not have guessed he had 10 points in 6v5 or 4v4 situations.

Tampa has 3 of the top 11 5 on 5 point producers.

Cherry picking though

I'm sorry but I don't see the corollary at all. If he didn't raise prices enough to be a part of revenue sharing, I'd consider him a damn fool.

There's being magnanimous and then there's being foolish.

Gotta play by NHL rules. If they quit out of revenue sharing, it would set a precedent to allow other teams to buck the NHL union of teams. Pegula would be blacklisted from all events and informally stripped of any kind input at the league level.

They'll probably just increase the amount of Sabres Bucos that sth get to make up for the price increase

Maybe with the additional Revenue he gets, he should invest in a czar that has a clue.
Clearly he and Kim, while well intentioned are out of their league.

If Botterill is as smart as he's reported to be, then they have the right guy and don't need a 'hockey czar'.

That’s about right.... I don’t get the point?

Over 50% of ROR production has been when it isn’t 5 on 5, where roughly 80% of the game is played
