I'm really starting to hate Keith's game. 80% of his passes are either weak or blind. What happened to passing with a purpose?

Brutal goal Forsberg. It's that type of season.

Where was Keith on that one?

Oh yeah - wrong side out of position.

Sorry but Murphy to far up ice again.
- BetweenTheDots

He was burned because of his lack of speed on that one. That is the drawback with him for sure.

Forsberg should have had it, but - Another o-zone blue line TO leading to a goal.

Take care of the puck.

Also whenever there is a 2 on 1 Keith never gets on the ice to stop the cross ice pass, why?

aside from the power play woes...puck management has to be their biggest problem this year...unforced errors...sloppy neutral zone...and poor pinches have cost them all year and all 3 goals tonight...

the only drama with this team is how will they lose...

Terrible spacing by Keith on goal 3. Stay on your freekin side 2 and get that stick in the right position to deflect that shot out of play. No reason to be cheating to the other side. Late getting back over caused the goal......but Forsberg brutal period as well.

Maybe in the next year or two Murphy will realize he's a defenseman

Problem isn’t his hands, I think - it’s decision making, holding the puck too long, not making the simple play - like the TO that led to the first Dallas goal.
- StLBravesFan

All of that - you are seeing exactly why Arizona didn't care much for his game. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer that's for sure. So when he isn't putting the puck in the net regularly, so those dumb turnovers are hard to excuse when they cost goals against. And people want to rip on Toews a$$ when he has to play with wingers like Duclair.

Duclair is the perfect example of a player who came to believe that he's entitled to playing in the NHL because he played 160 games right out of junior, mostly with the worst team in the NHL. He needs 50 games under a real teacher in Rockford.

giving up 3 has been the kiss of losing for this team...and for the 4th game in a row they scored 1st and are in danger of their 4th str loss

You see the tools, but decision making at times has been very poor. He also has made some excellent plays forcing turnovers on the forecheck and moving the puck with accurate passes. This is a development year so he should learn right where he is, next to Toews on and off the ice.

“Toews lurking” - don’t lurk, get in front of the goalie and stay there - Toews peels off to Bishops left waving his stick at the puck - instead of staying in front of the goalie and trying to tip it from there.

Seems like these guys have no idea how to play at the net.

hawks played a pretty decent game for 119 minutes...careless with the puck (again) cost them 2 goals in a minute..another TO and soft goal by forsberg...missed a wide open cage..
and dallas was outstanding blocking shots and active sticks keeping the hawks to the outside...

and that equals their 6th strt home loss...5th str loss overall and 8 of the last 10...
and 4th strt loss after scoring 1st goal...

the end of season preseason has now begun...

What was it - triple overtime?

They had almost nothing in the third - Wingles’ post wax about it - no pressure on Bishop - Stars did a nice job protecting the one goal lead.
