I get that the Bruins have been in the contender realm since the 2011 finals. a few missteps but always there when you have Chara, Bergeron, Rask and Marchand. all big possession drivers. Age shouls catch up soon.. but not this season. they are legit

The game I saw in Toronto against the Bruins back in November - the Leafs were taking advantage of Chara's slow footspeed every chance they got. It was pretty clear they had been instructed to chip it past him and retrieve it.

If the Leafs meet Boston in the playoffs, Boston will be the favourite - but I'm not going to dismiss our chances of winning due to Chara. He's not the same guy they rode to a Cup.

Excited to see how the Leafs stack up against the Preds tonight.

While I don't put much credence in Boston beating up on the Leafs the other night, if the Preds do it tonight then I think we can make better conclusions about where the Leafs stand.

we have a young and coming team. so a a lucky run this year could build into a real run for the cup next year.

guys want to go where they have the best chance to win. if we have a nice playoff run, ufas will be more interested in coming here and guys will stop blocking trades here.

Bergeron shutdown Matthews pretty handily last game, but do you guys honestly think that's going to happen again and again, forever and ever?

Star players are stars for a reason: they adapt, learn and thrive. I just don't see Matthews as the kind of guy, with the tools he has, getting erased from the scoreboard in a 7-game series.

I think we match-up pretty good against Boston, line for line; it'll be a good series for sure.
