Also said the leafs would retain money on Martin to move him.

The trade would be conditional on signing - so no risk involved.

If he signs with new team, we get a 3rd rounder.

If he doesn’t sign, we get an “autographed” pair if MiB’s underwear.

I thought they would keep Martin as depth 4th liner in the playoffs. Depending on the matchup.

As far as the other guys go I’m assuming they are just asking for a higher say 2nd rounder instead of a 3rd or 4th rounder that teams would be expecting to pay.
