Not to mention Bertuzzi was one of the best power forwards in history as a Canuck for six glorious years! |

Courtnall, Dirk, Ronning and Momesso plus a 5th for Butcher and Quinn, is the best Canuckstrade.

Also not to mention McCabe was a very solid player for us, both those players were a huge pickup for one-player trade. |

Those guys are good, but i think people forget how dominant Naslund/Bertuzzi were. Both those trades have got to be 1 and 2. when you get a top5 scorer in the league in a lopsided trade, it's pretty impressive. |

Those were impressive trades, although, they werent able to make a run for the cup with that team.
Both Naslund and Bertuzzi are definitely great Canucks, on an individual basis. The trade i mentioned helped the team get to Cup final.
I guess it depends on whether you use the team or individual performance as a deciding factor.
Again just my opinion

When it comes to trades Quinn Keenan Nonis & Burkie all made big ones in dome form. Cup runs & Presidents trophies & top flight teams for many years. |

Add to that Brodeur for Gotan Hogosta
We got on a very hot run leading up to the PI’s to even make it even though the SweatHog (Smythe) division sucked.
We were a .500ish team a won every series either 4-0 or 4-1 til the Dynasty NYI 0-4.
Quinn changed the culture here & built a legacy of exCanucks & BC boys. |

Courtnall and Ronning are for sure big pieces, but saying they got the Canucks to the finals is pretty far off. they were 2nd and 3rd liners and that trade was what 3/4 years before? Bertuzzi and Naslund were much better players. |

Trade Linden - dbot
when both goalies are struggling its time to look for a better goalie coach. It's not like they are getting any better AT ALL through the season |

That trade was part, a big part of what got them to & through the playoffs. In my opinion.
Naslund and Bertuzzi were both very talented. No denying that. But in my opinion they fell short on post season expectations.

On this day in 1998, the #Isles acquired Trevor Linden from the #Canucks in exchange for Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan McCabe, and a third-round pick https://t.co/c2bRVpocc7
Best trade in Canucks history!!!!! - LeftCoaster
yes that was a good one....mike keenan executed that trade btw. He was never GM but the temp GM he had sucked at hockey trades so keenan took over trades.
While its a great trade for us that ranks up there, I'd say the best ever canucks trade was Quinns' A. Stoyanov to pens for M Naslund! |

That was but a single part, the Linden trade had multiple parts to it and helped bring in Luongo and Henrik Sedin. |

No goalie coach in the league is going to get a tandem of backups to win more 40 games. We might just have the worst goalie duo in hockey it's a tossup between us and Buffalo. |
