Would you eat horse poop if it guaranteed the Canucks winning a Stanley Cup in your lifetime?”

So I’m reading Bertuzzi is offering to help Virtanen, Button blew his load talking about Pettersson and Hutton is a lazy kid.

He’s gonna make Virtanen smarter?

We should trade for Yak too then

Bertuzzi on Virtanen : "I can help him, he has so many great qualities to be a huge power forward. I would not get rid of him, these kids flourish from 24 to 28. Give him chances but he has to take advantage of his opportunities but he's got to do some work as well." #Canucks

Bertuzzi’s hockey sense offensively was great, and he had the hands of a smaller/skilled guy.

Virtanen relies purely on being fast/strong and having a strong shot. You get flashes of David Booth watching him play.

With Virtanen Gadjovich and Lind in the system having Bertuzzi around could be a good thing. Just dont show them his revenge tactics.

Nothing I didn't know already...

I was thinking it says we have 2 solid NHL d-men and 4 fringe AHL guys. MDZ may be ok in a bottom 6 pair. Maybe even EG too. Obviously not together.

The pre-Mike Richards hit version is the good one, not the Canuck one

There’s still some hope. But I’d like those chances better if he was in the AHL playing big minutes in all situations instead of the 4th line with Dowd

I assumed you meant the bad one, where he was streaky, showed flashes of his skill and physicality and had strangely good possession stats.

Also saw a good writeup on Jared McCann still learning at 21 how to be successful in the NHL. His conditioning apparently was an issue for boobner

I wish the kid well. He didn't ask to be traded.

Rasmus Asplund was on Button’s top 50 list

Obviously there’s a high chance the Canucks draft someone else with 33rd overall in that draft but still there were some solid prospects drafted in that range.

Canucks forward prospect group is solid. Would love if they could add a couple of picks head into this draft to draft 2-3 solid defensive prospects and still add depth to the forward pool.
