According to my notes, you didnt like him when it was suggested at begining of season that he was a top 10 pick.
- Reubenkincade

I have him at 11 right now. I still don't see him going before 10, but I also don't see him going much later otherwise someone will get a good player.

Edit: I thought I had him at 10. I was wrong it was 11.

I see him the way I saw Rasmussen last season. I had him at like 17. Just not a top 10 so he ended up moving down. Veleno, I don't think drops that far.

From an agent, "Hearing the Canucks are getting a healthy amount of calls on Ben Hutton for a trade. Vancouver not shopping him but they are certainly listening." #Canucks

- VANTEL

Trade him, get it over with. Rip the band aid off.

Tonight’s game was stereotypical Canucks hockey, tonight’s best dman was Stecher followed by Del Zotto. Tanev and Edler were terrible in their own end. Not one forward stood out in the game, not one.

Green is not motivating the team at all, after the first period he should read the riot act and thrown multiple sticks around the dressing room.

Love the formation of being just far enough apart to allow the opposition to skate through everyone and the Canucks just enough space to wave their sticks while standing still.

Bloody pathetic effort.

not a fan of the action but I did notice that burrows vision looked impeded by the ref so I wonder... did he even know it was his head he was kneeing?

Burrows has been in the league long enough to know that's not tolerated

- SMBDragon

Say what you want about Burrows and what he brings but I sure don't miss those antics around here.

yes we do.
which is why I hope we keep Tanev. Everyone here seems to hate our #1 Edler and the #2 they want traded. That leaves us with nothing if he's traded. Not a good idea.
The only way I say ok do it is if it's for 2018 1OA to target dahlin.

Trade anyone else on D for all I care but not your only good D.

- SMBDragon

With A healthy Edler and Tanev in the lineup we are still headed for bottom 3. So really having them here to 'mentor' makes little to no difference at all. On a PO team they are 3-5 slot dmen at best. The fact they are our top pairing says where we are going. The D needs a FULL reset. Even if we sold all else and kept Tanev/Edler we are no further ahead. Our forward cupboards are getting stocked which is great and we have Demko coming...but my god the D needs work.

#fillyourneeds.

What's wrong with just punching Hall in the mouth, I don't get the hair pulling, biting, kneeing guys in the head. Love that he stands up for teammates but come on man, cut the poop.

He pulled his knee back and then followed though while his head was around halls legs ....what did he think was going to happen ?

Burrows knew EXACTLY what he was doing. He was just embarrassed by a clean hit by Hall on the play before the whistle. While the guy loved being a Canuck, and I loved his passion for the Canucks, he is complete scum

Exactly. The circus act that is Burrows is ridiculous. I love his tenacity too but man you are bang on...cut the crap.

I was kidding about taking notes.
Veleno will be a good pick for whoever selects him.

Just give us a top 5 pick this year pls. So we'll end up 6-7.

Gary owes them for the China thing, Canucks and Kings will both pick to play 3.

I'm sure Gary would be tickled to see the #1OA go to ARI

I never know when you are serious or cynical
- VANTEL

Serious, the lack of effort really pissed me off, and as much as I think Stecher should have had a year in the AHL, he was head and shoulders the best on the ice last night.

What were your thoughts?

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Chris Pronger was interviewed between periods last night. So respected. Makes me laugh.

Compared to many NHL 'heroes' I see nothing wrong with Burrows' actions.

Time to hold veterans accountable. It's not going to happen but that's what I would do.

Crawford had no problem benching Seabrook.
Deboer has no problems benching Hansen
Green needs to get with the times.

This kid has consistently put up points, might be a good overage signing. If nothing else he adds centre depth in Utica.

Islanders and Blues are better trading partners for us.
Toronto is at 50 signed, so we would have to take someone like Martin back. They could add the 2 2nds
they have.

Yup, that's what I said in EK's blog. Truth of the matter is I don't want to see ANY of our players go to TOR, ever
