I just don't think he's in buffalo's plans next season...if they could get a 2nd or a mid-level prospect, take your lumps and move on
- Michael Pachla

If he does not want to be here then that is a different story. We need to recover what we can for him then

funny thing though

a few good games by a qb does increase his value

He doesn't have to be thrilled with anything; He's an RFA and his stats have been bad.

I like him and I hope the last several games since the Stars fiasco are a step in the right direction, not a vision of the future, but a trend forward.

Goalies don't hit their prime until their late-20's. I want to see this through and whether he and his agent like it or not, they have no leverage.

I like him somewhat too...his locker room presence has been great, but we've also seen his limitations in goal

I think he wants to be in buffalo, but I don't think the Sabres see him as the answer in goal

He's slow and has terrible rebound control, but if he loses another 10 lbs and learns how to re-direct rebounds (something Hasek was KING at - People forget he had terrible rebound control but learned how to redirect shots to the corners), he could be a Corey Crawford-type. Good but not great starting goalie who can go on a hot streak as long as the team in front of him learns how to play some motherfukkin' defense.

he is who is is

it's not like he is 23 years old and can be taught a few things to improve his game

you either lock him up for 2 or 3 years

trade him now

or cut him this off season if no takers in a trade

Klesla didn't want to play for the sabres

- navinrjohnson

I believe nor did Halak, that's why he was sent to the islanders within days of acquiring him. He won't even take to the ice during practice.

"During the commotion of last week’s lead up to the big game, Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor was asked by the Buffalo News if he would consider a pay cut to remain with Buffalo in 2018. Taylor’s status with the team has been in question since Week 11 of this past season when he was benched for rookie QB Nathan Peterman.

Taylor’s response to the question of a paycut was “Nah, that’s not really part of the plan right now.”

"Definitely not part of my mindset," continued Taylor. "I’ve done that before. I don’t think there’s a need to do that again. That’s definitely not part of my mindset.” "

I don't see the reasoning behind trading Lehner. He is a good goalie and he is cheap. There are 10 names we need to move before we move Lehner and if we don't get back at least what we gave for him it's a freakin waste. This trade deadline is shaping up to be an abomination. We will blow it, I can just feel it coming.

team will never turn that trade into a draw, it's a lost trade

the bigger question is do you want lehner for another 2 or 3 years, or part ways today with a team

he is who he is, and pretty bad at controlling rebounds

- navinrjohnson

13th in the NHL in save percentage. We can do a hell of a lot worse.

Keep him.

- SABRES 89

I'm done with you and this liquidsh!t you and your cronies keep bringing into the blog. It's getting really f*cking old.

Go take your ball and go home like you always do around trade deadline anyway, you do it every single year, dangling rumors in front of our faces and then acting like 1 or 2 people ruined it for everyone.

They can gladly PM you. It's not worth it to deal with your terrible attitude.
