There are better players on the market that are cheaper imo now GM's are going to look at the price and say pass and go to the cheaper route and then we're going to be just left with the first round pick

Girgensons also brings this, as does Larsson and countless other. If you are not scoring, it does noting for me.

But therein lies the difference. Where Girgs and Larsson bring a ton of speed and physicality to the ice, they don't do it while scoring. Kane can do both. When he is on he is a force to be reckoned with, but like most goal scorers, he is streaky.

Hoffman seems to be more consistent over time, but when Kane is on, he brings that extra something to the game.

EITHER WAY...I would be 100% ok with having either one of them on my team for a playoff run.

Yes at 19 a player that has been injured all summer and rushed back and probably has a nagging injury that'll have to get surgery for is a bust
