Like many on this board, I just hope Botts trades Kane this week before he gets injured. That would be devastating to this franchise if we didn't get anything for him.

He's too smart to simply hold onto the asset. Kane's a desired commodity, he'll go somewhere for something before the TDL.

BTW, he's back with Eichel, for those of you who fear his value is declining playing with Senior Slowshoes

If a team overpays, anyone not named Eichel should be available. Im sure Botts is smart enough to not trade these players for the sake of trading them.

Take a minute to look at offensive statistics when Larsson is on the ice. It's horrifying. He's antithesis-Eichel. Anyone sent to his line receives an offensive death sentence. GM's have years of scouting on Kane. They know EXACTLY what he can do. I don't think a slump changes their minds in the slightest.

We're not dealing with a Leino here, fortunately.
