nothing buffalo does surprises me

I would not be shocked if they say we are going to build around tyrod for next year

and honestly, if they plan to wait til their first rd pick to grab a qb, good chance their pick is on the bench which means another year possible with tyrod

- homiedclown

This doesnt sound too bad actually, just keep tyrod for one more year. I dont think throwing rookies out there right away is the best plan. Let whoever it is sit for a year either way.

I don't know anyone that really thought he was the answer. I think people are much harder on him than he deserves and he was/is treated like poop by the team, but he never female dogged in public about it like so many other players have.
- Wetbandit1

I just said he’s not good enough
Which i think has obviously been proven true
But for freaking pages i had to defend myself from ppl yelling at me, acting like i said he “sucks”

Bottom line...
u can’t consistently win in the NFL with a Qb who averages about 200yds passing (give or take)
The 30-ish yards rushing isn’t enough to make up for the gap

I would take any of these over tyrod

Tua Tagovailoa
- homiedclown

1) a great half in a college game doesn’t mean he can develop someone in the nfl

2) if he knew that Tua was so good, shouldn’t he have been starting?

All due props for that game...
but idk how/if that has any translation to what happens with us in the nfl

It’s hard to see any way they give Tyrod that roster bonus

If we are drafting a Faulk, Rudolph, etc...
then I’d guess we sign someone like Bradford for a year or 2

Bradford might sign cheaper and shorter term. I bet keenum will want some years.

I’m guessing we could get Keenum (my 1st choice) for around 20mil per
Maybe a little less of a Cap hit if we up the guaranteed $$$

Bills fans shouldn't get hopes up for Kirk Cousins after Alex Smith trade

Per ESPN and I can't stand that web site.

Im watching a show on nfl network right now and they just showed the bills celebration in the locker room from a few angles when they watched the cincy game. Theres a shot that shows pegula tapping on mcdermots shoulder and i swear he says "hey, its going to happen" to him right before the 4th and 12 td throw. Pretty cool if so.

6-10 teams supposedly in on E Kane!
Even if 50% are just kicking the tires, looks like it could be a nice bidding war for his services.
It only takes for 1 GM to get weak knees and cave to JBotts price demands.

Now if they could somehow manufacture that type of interest in
-Skunk

-Gorges
-Pommenville
-Okposo
-Girgensons
-Larsson
-Nolan

With 26 days til the trade deadline, how long before the dominoes start to fall? It would see that the teams most likely in the Kane sweeps are Western Conference teams. My guess is one of the Cali teams, but would keep an eye on Nash and St Louis. Just looking at the asking price, would a trade with LA for Alex Iafallo, Jordan Subban and a first seem possible? You get a roster player in Iafallo who can play LW and C who is from Eden, a RD prospect in Subban and a first. Maybe another pick if they make it to the finals or resign Kane. Just one idea to throw out there.

...and IF it is true that Vancouver is in play, they should be the target and go for their 1st, insist on no lottery protection and take less pieces to do so...unless the ‘Yotes are in play was well

They could trade all of these players for some type of compensation, if they chose to. It remains to be seen what kind of GM Botterill is. I think they'll keep the lower-end scrubs who are under contract beyond this year in order to keep the roster full.

Edit: didn't mean to bold nolan

Ya, there is only so much that can be done in one TD, but I hope he is as aggressive as possible.

Speaking of the low end scrubs, I like Josefson and ERod for the 4th line...guys who should be able to do some damage against the opponents lesser lines.
Pommer is likely here given his contract and production recently, he can play on that line as well.
Then hopefully they can package some picks to move up in the draft and find that gem we need to hit on in addition to our 1st.

Yeah, me too. I like Pouliot for the 4th line too, but that ship has sailed. I could see pominville being in and out of the lineup next year. Try to get a couple picks for 22 and 28 this year. They're not in the long-term plans anyway, then bring in UFAs

Mittelstadt-Eichel-Okposo
Smith-ROR-Reinhart
Bailey-Erod-Baptiste
Wilson-Brodziak?Josefson-Pominville/Ward/Wingels

Note: this is the easiest scenario imo, not the best

As a Jets fan...I do not want Cousins. It would be the Jets equivalent of what the Sabres did with rushing to finish the rebuild. We have a good young team, draft the QB of the future.

Now there's a strong Irish Cat-Lick name I can get behind. None of this Marino and Manning nonsense.

If I was talking to Nashville about Kane, I would be interested in a couple prospects and not necessarily a roster player. I would be interested in Victor Ejdsell, LW, 6'5", 214 lbs, 22 y/o who has played with Asplund and Dante Fabbro, D, 6'1", 185 lbs, 19 y/o is a sophomore at BU. The question would be if they would be willing to part with two prospects plus a pick.

He is, but the OC from Minnesota is the HC now. So it could make sense for a backup plan/future planning.
