I thought he made a good point about Dorsett. Most in here (not me) hated him and now that he is done he was a warrior that is sorely missed. A bunch of whiners in here.

I can't ignore facts like career turnovers, puck possession and shot generation because a guy is a "warrior". It's the same argument for a guy like Gudbranson. Open question: How long do you ignore the stats because a guy is a "warrior"?

Sorry if your feelings were hurt with an accurate observation of what I read in the blog yesterday. Possibly you could tell me how should I post my observations? Should I just jump in with all the unrealistic comments. OK got it.

I don't understand why JV just didn't jump that guy from behind and pummel him Bertuzzi style, wussy.

You know next year that the Canucks roster is going to be sooo good with all these NHL ready prospects that will take the team to the playoffs, that's right guys the playoffs woo,

Advanced stat's aren't going to give you the big picture. Look at the Canucks with Gudbranson out and Virtanen politely asking Lewis if he wanted to fight.

Big problem, It won't get better when Gudbranson's gone and Jake's plying his trade in Utica or another team, will it?

Actually, the entire point of advanced stats is to give you the bigger picture. They don’t predict single events within a game, but try to show the most likely outcome based on the data collected.

I have a problem that Green was okay with that hit on BB, it's not the way he should be setting the table.
