I think you can forget adding any Deference/player currently helping their team get into the playoffs in any Kane deal.

(frank) that please list the elite players we have drafted that have not been top 5 ?

I will wait

I will put Casey as a elite prospect but he hasn’t shown us that in the nhl

OK so I went over the Sabres draft for the last 20-30 years, this is depressing, the ONLY superstar drafted since 1988 would be Alexander mogilny.

Is that a variation on the Cleveland steamer?

This is just a daily reminder that Jack Eichel is a superstar

I love how the critics keep saying he is no Matthews or McDavid but a solid player. Why can't they just say he is a great player

Idk if they’d trade Fabbro? probably not
but I’d bet we can get Jack Dougherty
(who we should’ve drafted instead of Karabacek... ugh, still hurts)

Dougherty is kind of an all-around defenseman who doesn’t really excel in any area, but is solid overall
Put up good offensive numbers in the WHL,
but i don’t see him as much of a scorer in the NHL
Pretty decent puck handler & passer though

I think he’d be a good fit for us
Maybe something like Dougherty, Aberg & a 1st for Kane
Dougherty is probably a B+ prospect (top4 potential)
Aberg is a young forward with some NHL experience, has some speed & skating ability, and looked good in the playoffs last year (top6 potential)
And we get our late 1st

I’d rather have Fabbro & a 2nd
But there’s a good chance he’s untouchable

I just don’t bother to listen
Who cares what they say?

We know Jack is good
That’s all that matters to me
Screw those Toronto writers & their Canadian bias

Some guys do have a tough time in the AHL & play better in the NHL

It’s concerning that he’s having such a tough time though

Fabbro is a gamble. Jbotts said he wants an NHL ready player

Sounds like Pysyk

Fabbro would be my target. He could be ready next season. Would need to add likely
