Do you see Erod as 3C? Baptiste needs to be top 9 imo, preferably top 6. Okposo seems to have that Eichel RW locked down, so that leaves ROR as the lone top 6 option. I'm not opposed to that, because Erod and Baptiste can't lock down a traditional 3rd checking line

Sam on Oreilly’s RW has looked pretty good
Didn’t he start there in his rookie year & look good then as well?

Gotta figure outvthose LW slots
And get a 3rd line that can score

The Pens didn’t have a 3rd line checking unit
I think they rolled their top3 lines & then used their 4th line with Cullen at center in defensive situations

I still think the ROR line needs more speed on the wings than Reinhart can provide. But you're right, he has looked good there. If only Reinhart could lock down a 3rd line like

Bailey-Reinhart-Baptiste

He s shown nothing at center tho

Have you heard the news? The XFL is coming back.

How long until Trump endorses it bc he’s still mad at the NFL for not giving him the Bills?

Ive thought both of the last two penalties - one either way - have been poop calls.

his line generated zone time and regularly lead the sabres in puck possession. Problem was he played with griffith and girgs. Play him with benoit and okposo, see if it clicks (especially now that he seems to be feeling it)

agreed, but doesn't matter, 3-0. Sabres deserve the 2 points, Canucks playing like the poop team they are lol

3C long term? I'm not sure he's even in the NHL. Baptiste top 6....seems very optimistic. These guys have a great opportunity right now, hope they take advantage of it. So far, they haven't.

I'm holding out hope that Trump resigns so he can try to buy the Panthers. I'd have to stop being a Panthers fan (Bills and Panthers are 1A and 1B for me), of course, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Well earlier this year, he had Pouliot & Griffith on his wings

I’ve been saying to put Sam at 3C for a couple seasons now...
let’s see him with some talent though

I hope the Sabres aren't using up all their offense for the rest of the season these two games.

Baptiste has played 2 games this trip:

1 with Nolan and and Larsson

And 1 with Pouliot and Erod. He took advantage of the latter, which was actually a good opportunity

I loved the “keep away” before

And i know it was an empty netter,
but that was the most unenthusiastic goal call I’ve ever heard

That's the rub, right? If you play him with talent on the wings then he's not 3C by default on this team.

Kane & Pommer are the 3rd line wingers now
Slot him in there till Kane gets traded

Put Pouliot back in the top6 to try showcase him

Trump won’t quit...
but I’m sure he’ll do something to stay in the spotlight after his Presidency
Guy has as big an ego as anyone
