Do we get to get rid of Bogo, or his groin too?

Tell that to mika Noronen

Brodeur had a few goals too.

But they were empty netters, and those don't count.

Next we're gonna hear about "percentage of net that's open to shoot at" and how Matthews has a better small-window goal percentage

Dude. Goal tending should be last on the priority list. you dont trade Kane for a goaltender
- MCGUIZZY

Goaltending last on the priority list?

That's right:
lehner had a shutout last game. He's good right.

And chad is good every other year, so he's going to be good next year.

Ullmark played so good in the 1 game this year, he's a lock for 75 games next year

Pittsburgh is a likely trade partner, will kane get one of those goalies- sabres probably need to add

He's not looking for a goalie at this time, the Kane offers will get interesting due to Thornton and Hall being out. The Kings are still there as well but don't think they want to move young assets due to Jeff Carter coming back next month, that might be to late for the Kings.

Kane will get the same return vanek did except this time there will (hopefully) be no illusions about the roster player coming back as a piece we should keep moving forward.

Lehner isn't a great goalie but he's average. The guy you'd be bringing in wouldn't be as good as him out the gate.

Chad is gone. Ullmark will be up next year if not starting over Lehner by the end.

We have UPL in the pipeline and while I'm not a huge fan he's still considered a very good quality goalie prospect.

IMO I'm with Mc, we need help elsewhere and Kane is our biggest chip to move right now. Skip the goaltending, get a top4 defender with some term.

this is correct, and has nothing to do with lehner

even if lehner is moved tomorrow, they are still looking to add d men and guys up front

not a goalie

probably have to change the first to a prospect, sharks don't have one this year, makes me think they're less likely to give up their 2019 1st too.

id do it though

We need a goalie other than ullmark.

Will we trade Kane for a goalie? Who knows.

My point the other day was the sabres should look at both desmith and jarry. Jbotts is familiar with them. It's not insider info, it seamed like common sense.

Everyone was talking about how Pittsburgh only has 1 or 2 prospects. Sprong and Matta.

I mentioned what appears to be a strong position for the Pens to trade away. GOALIE

A day or 2 later, Homie posts a good article saying that pittsburgh isn't trading those guys.

You are so sure about everything,

Our goaltending is a concern, we are in 30th place. With an ahl goalie moving up .

Where's your trade talk? Throw something out, instead of shooting down my senario.

That's a 4 mil cap hit for the same length as Bogo. That's a lateral move at best. If they wanted a straight swap with 1.12 retained on Bogo, go for it, otherwise, why water down the return for Kane to basically get right back to where you were before?

I'd be fine with a straight swap, no money held by the Sabres and we'll throw in Fasching. But if the Sabres retained salary on Bogo and had a 4 mil cap hit on Boedker, they're making out terribly on that deal.

Plus SJ doesn't have a first this year, so it would likely be 2 seconds for Kane. Idk, that deal doesn't sound great
