Virtanen will never figure it out. He's dumb as nails. Has all the talent in the world, but the kid is stupid as (frank). Reminds me a lot of Kassian, but more talent and equally as dumb.

No he wasn’t that bad, overall it was a good effort by all the guys. I think Virtanen had 10 mins half way through the 3rd and ended with close to 13mins. Was hitting hard once the game was in hand, Sedins back down to 14:20.

So, Boeser is back, Lui upped his trade value, the Oilers stink, like bad, and the hottest team in the league got knocked off by the lowly Habs.

Ranger fans all want AV canned, Flyer fans want to know if they will be good enough to compete before Giroux is done, Jets fans still don’t believe the team is good (too much disappointment)

I was sitting in the Captains Club and pretty focused on the action and he didn’t hurt the team but it’s disappointing how disinterested he appears. I think he needs to be sent back to Utica. I wish the best for the kid like all Canucks but man has he ever sucked the last two months....overall, just a fun game and a lot of great performances. Boeser and Horvat were great and Vanek just continues to surprise. Vaneks hockey sense is fantastic. Playing out east for so long I really had no idea how smart he is on the ice

Virtanan was a PR move... he tried to move up to grab reinhart but when that didn't happen virtanan was a forgone conclusion.
Virtanan will be a solid 3lw for a decade, if he finds his game and plays with say Peterson and Boeser he could be a potential 15 to 20 goal, 40 point winger and I'd be ok with that. He needs to find his edge though ... or he'll be less bertuzzi and more kassion.

Edler has been playing pretty well outside of that terrible giveaway the other night, but he’s not a PP1 dman.

I agree with Don, Virtanen looks lost again and needs to go to the AHL. Disappointing after he showed some promising glimpses to start the season. Seeing Ehlers flying again tonight is just salt in the wound.

Hopefully whoever was responsible for that pick will learn a lesson. Ignore passports when drafting and draft high skill/speed/IQ when you’re drafting 6th overall. More EP type picks and then draft guys like Gadjovich/Lind/Gaudette in rounds 2 through 5 if you want some sandpaper.
