Tough love from Green on Virtanen, "Jake has to find a way to be hard to play against. It's easy to say, just play your young players 20 minutes. It doesn't work like that. They need to learn to be players you win with." #Canucks

That’s complete bs, everyone knows it’s a personal vendetta, Green just hates him.

Some of these negative comments are disturbing to me. Whether they come back or not these guys have been warriors and always come to play. They have earned the right to come back at a cheaper rate and less responsibility. Two of the most honest, generous and role models any Dad or hockey team could wish for.

You're right of course... but now you'll be labeled and scorned.

If they want to send him a message, send him to Utica, and not with an overnight bag.

The Canucks are not going to make the playoffs, they are basically playing out the season. Why not let Virtanen play rw with the Sedins for the rest of the year and he should benefit and get a confidence boost. Put Loui anywhere but on the ice, lol Arguably one of the worst signings ever in Vancouver, 6 time 6 mil and no return.
- joegreif17

lol maybe...just maybe...Loui's numbers were skewed a bit playing on the PP with Marchand and Bergeron in BOS?

Who do you pick at 3oa and why.

Players likely available:Hughes(D), Boquist(D), Tkachuk(LW/C), Zadina(LW)

I would be very happy with either of those wingers. I think either ones gives us an actual 1st line and a very legit powerplay. Of course drafting either of those d might upgrade the powerplay too. I'm having a hard time determining who the BPA is, leaning toward Tkachuk still.

Boquist if he is there or trade and recoup an extra pick to select Bouchard or other Dman.
Need offensive from the backend badly.

I would take Zadina or Wahlstrom over Tkachuk.

Green is a beauty! Toughen up Jake or hit the road. For good! Gifting ice time to chumps like Virtanen and Goblin is not how you develop youth

LA's a big team, he has the tools to play against those guys.

Bouchard or Dobson over Hughes.
Boqvist 100% if he is taken 2OA Svech
Zadina i think will be a JV level bust if he goes top 6.
Tkachuk is a nice option. Personally if we pick top 3 we should take one of the big 3. Outside the top 3 i think it is between Tkachuk and Bouchard for me. Bouchard has good size, lots of offensive instincts and also good defensively. Would make a really good partner for OJ.

He has the tools but not the tool box. He refuses to play physical anymore and this isn't anything new. Virtanen was soft in Utica last year as well. Dowd is our toughest player and that is a joke!!!

Wow, completely disagree on Zadina. Way different player, high hockey IQ and just a wicked wrister. I am leaning towards Tkachuk, but he's the other guy. His CHL highlights are very impressive, much more than Boquist or hughes on tape and at the WJC IMO
