Heading to the game tonight.
So far I'm 8-11-1-1 when seeing the Flyers live March 30 2002. I'm 5-8-0 when going to Detroit to see the Flyers play.
So this cannot be good. Could be worse, I'm 0-1-1 in Columbus. - SuperSchennBros
I can't make it to Detroit, but will be watching from the next best thing...an actual Little Caesars |

At what point of his amazing rookie season did he not receive any coaching from Hakstol?
If we're talking about developing young players into better players and reaching their full potential then that's a process that takes place over time for most players. Gostisbehere hit the ground running in his initial season which was by far mostly due to his ability and puck skills but they certainly didn't just throw him out there without any guidance or coaching in terms of system play and strategy. I get what you're saying but Gostisbehere's career has been up and down. - MJL
Your premise is that Ghost's current good play is due to Hakstol's coaching. I'm just saying he was pretty damn good from the minute he stepped on the ice for the Flyers...without the masterful leadership of Hakstol. I feel like his poor year was more to do with his recovery from surgery than anything. I don't know what goes on behind closed doors at the OrGanIzation any more than you do. Hakstol may be a genius. Tho, I don't see any outward signs of him being anything more than an average coach. From what I've seen of Ghost, he seems to be a very mature, intelligent and driven person. His father was a professional athlete and his sister was a world class skater. I think he would succeed just about anywhere in the nHL. |

I played DnD once. I made a Monk boxer that wanted to fight everyone. I wasn't invited back to play after a few sessions. |

No my premise is that watching a player like Gostisbehere develop and improve over time is a sign that the Flyers process of developing players is working. Of course the player deserves the most credit for that as they're the ones out on the ice.
Last season, I agree that the off season surgery affected him and likely led to confidence issues and frustration. Last season for a period of time, his defensive fundamental game completely broke down which is why he was scratched for some games. The coaching staff worked with him to correct those issues. Don't really need to be inside the organization to see that. I think the Flyers coaching staff worked hard to make Gostisbehere a better all around player and to his credit right now he is playing the best all around hockey of his career in my opinion. He's not scoring at the pace he did his first season but that was never realistic to keep up that pace.

I dont play d&d or magic, either.....played Settlers Of Catan a few times and hated it. I would just trade all of my cards to people who needed them. People would get mad at me for that |
