It's been awhile since the Rangers missed the playoffs, never thought it would happen again with Hank still the starting goalie. Very well could this season

at least it's a relief to know that Shatty isn't THAT bad, there was a reason

hopefully moving forward once healthy we see the guy we thought we were getting

Firing AV should have been step 1 to evaluate the D
- KreiderBomb

Firing AV gets Ruff in faster...which makes his firing that much closer. I'm all for it.

Probably one of EK's best sentences..

"The question "What will the return be?" is on many GM's minds and the general answer appears to be "more than you'd expect, but not as much as was thought prior to Pacioretty being available. If he is indeed available."

Shatty said the cortizone shot stopped working about 2 months after he got it. You can see how his point production plummeted at that time. Gotta give him credit trying to play w/ injury but it would have been better if he just got it fixed as soon as it became a problem

No set spot for Hayes, who's rotating... It's 61-93-89: 36-10-26; 40-12-17; 28-51-95
D: 55-27: 76-18; 42-77

Peter Holland one step away from taking Hayes spot.

I hate and love this coaching group.

He wasn't bad, I made it all up. He's been wonderful over the last 27 games. Ask anyone on here.

I'm sorry but he was terrible, maybe one of the worst Rangers Defenders of all time. Worse than Redden.

#NYR Since December 10th (last 19 games):
- 3 regulation wins
- 13 times allowing 35+ SOG
- just 1 regulation win in 9 games against top-16 NHL teams (3-4-2).
- have been outshot in 8 of those 9 games

He might be the next Redden. But that's almost every ranger big name UFA signing ever.
