Vin, I jsut checked today, I might have to cross Evan Bocuahrd off my wish list. He's sky rcoketing up mock draft and was just ranked 5th among north american skaters by NHL scouting. He started in the low 20's to start the year. Damn it!

Just heard a rumor of Nylander (Tor) for McD

I think NYR would want a pick as well ...no?

Much harder to replace McD (even though he's playing crappy) than it would for Tor. to replace Nylander.

Tor. in desperate need for Dman

- rrentz

I would do it but I think TOR might have to add something. I like Nylander, might want more of a Tkachuk type though. Nylander is another "soft" player on a team lacking any kind of bite.

I don't know what this means. It lacks any kind of cleverness or humor. So try again and you'll succeed.

That's not happening. If were the other way around, we'd never give up Nylander. Even now with him having a "down" year. He's still gonna put up 50+ points.

McD is no slouch himself, I think it’s a fair trade that addresses both teams needs

It's not. Mcdonagh is free agent in 18 months. Nylander has 6 more years left until UFA. Nylander has 107 points in 152 games.

God damn you Smith! Why did you have to have a good series against the Habs?

Play great in a contract year. A tale as old as time. Unless you're Rick Nash.

Nash has been playing great. Just can't finish. Hit probably 20 posts. Every other facet of his game has been spot on.

I mean, the Wolfpack have been the worst defensive team in the AHL this year, we got 3 more years of Brendan Smith at over 4 million a year, we got 3 more years of Shattenkirk post knee surgery, we got Marc Staal having a resurgent season but still at 5.7 mil a year for 3 more years

I get the idea of trading Mac, he'd bring back a haul and it's arguably a really good time to cash in on him, but lets be realistic here, our blueline is a HUGE need

We need to do the Isles strategy, but we got a better goalie.

If the other team scores 6, we need to score 7.

In all seriousness, they have to find a way to trade or a combination trade/ buyout at least 2 of these guys.

look, you gotta keep propping him up for when his NMC moves to a 15 team NTC in July.

The only way anybody is gonna want him is if you add in Chytil, Andersson or 1st round pick as part of the deal. We're screwed.
