You've got a guy like Peter Holland who will wind up with more ice time than your up and coming young players like Miler and Vesey, what kind of message is that sending these guys?
Taking chances gets you benched but floating around the ice adding no value gets you a consistent shift??
Give me a team full of Vesey and Millers over a team full of Peter Hollands any day

He's saying we don't have it tonight, I'm trying to piss you off for next game.
AV's presser: at the end of the night... had some good looks... need to play the right way... blablabla - 21peter
Says the same thing after every loss. Problem is the losses are mounting and nothing is changing. Also in the 20 regulation losses they have given up I believe 11 empty net goals. Not every game is a one goal loss so the percentage of an empty net goal happening when they pull the goalie is extremely high. I would say they are probably tops in that category. Something needs to change and it needs to happen now. Whether it is make a coaching change or start paying off the roster for the future is up to management. This team no longer has what it takes to win. The window is completely shut in my estimation. They had a good group for several years that could have potentially won one maybe two cups. They had some good moments but overall this team ultimately wasted many opportunities to bring home a championship. From 2012 where they lost to the devil's in a series they should have won, to getting to the cup and not being to sustain multi goal leads to the Kings in multiple games and getting two very bad calls go against them in games 2 and 5, to the Tampa series where we saw Hank have an awful games 2 and 3 to the complete and total no show's in games 5 and 7 to last year's absolutely frustrating loss to Ottawa. Not saying they would have beaten Pittsburgh in the next round but still frustrating non the less. As each year passed after 2015 this team got weaker and softer on the ice and behind the bench and slowly morphed into the mess they are now. This is my opinion and I am sure some or alot will disagree and that is fine.

Agreed.
oh and btw; the post you responded to was of course written before AV's presser!

Plus the game wasn't on where I live so I didn't get to watch it. But with the way they have been playing if you've seen one loss you've seen them all. I can visualize the ineptitude in my head.

Not sure if there is much to disagree with in your post. It’s pretty much spot on.
I understand why Miller was benched. Idk why Vesey was benched. In the end, it doesn't matter. This is flawed from how it was built to how it plays. Give up and start over.

Blog up sometime later today. All I will say on the above is that optics of it is not good, yet, oddly enough, I don’t have an issue with it. Carey and Holand actually both had strong games. To me, Vesey did not. Miller’s turnover got him benched. I don’t agree with the strategy but understand why it was done. If you are trying to win, then you play who deserves to play. If you are building to the future, then, Miller and Vesey would play because the end result wouldn’t matter. In current situation, AV played who he thought was playing better. Carey and Holland were and Miller/Vesey were not. But what do I know, so tired of expressing, hoping, wishing we would see something change that I almost have become immune and expect the stupid mistakes.
It's Boston. That city closely rivals Philly in terms of trash human beings. - tomburton99
I don't know, some Philly fans are actually pieces of poop in the flesh. They riot and fight people like it's a soccer game over in Europe. I have not seen footage like that around Boston but maybe I've missed it. They also throw giveaways back onto the ice during tribute games.
Some Boston fans are straight trash when it comes to social media and the like. See Joel Ward incident.
