kane is faster, plays pk

vanek IMO is a fringe 2nd liner for a team needing a rental

kane has much more upside, but of course will cost more than the late 2nd rd pick

Kane plays the PK
Vanek pays the power play 1st unit

Vanek has the net front presence
Kane is a perimeter shooter

Depends on what holes the trading teams hope to fill.

Hoping we get more than I expect for kane, I just see some teams looking Vancouvers way if our price is too high on kane.

If Kane has no value, we should let him walk this summer.

I don't really care about this debate, but you are spinning facts. Injuries are part of the game, but shouldn't be a predictor of the player being injured in the future. Meaning you have to take Kane's gpg, apg, and pgp, not just the totals. That's not using a great argument. He actually has 26.12 gpg/82, 24.62 apg/82, 50.73 pgp/82

So teams shouldn't worry about bogo's injury history if they were to trade for him?

That doesn't make sense.

Some guys play a style like kane that injuries are more likely to happen. He's physical and rough. Gm's consider this, otherwise they aren't doing their jobs.

Pommer is always healthy. Not as physical or rough with his style.

He has value, the debate revolves around how much value, weather it matters that he's cold and which teams want him.

Agreed. I'm sure we'll see a modest return for him, but feeding the fire is fun.

Modest return doesn't sound like a 1st, prospect, rostered player and conditional pick.

Be ready for an onslaught of kane fans disagreeing

Only person I have seen with that expectation is Garth but I haven't been around much.
