Darth, first of all, I said most (not all) of SB's MAJOR moves have been terrible.

Going down your list, I'm not sure what you meant in the first good move you listed. I agree that acquiring Frolik, Panarin and Oduya the first time were good. Richards recruited the Hawks, so that was no-brainer. Vermette was an overpay that worked out after Q had to press-box him. The return for Shaw was good, but the decision to move Shaw in the first place is questionable, since what he added to the team was in Q's words "irreplaceable" and in fact hasn't been replaced in terms of heart, grit, and going to the net. Most of your other listed moves (acquiring ADB, Forsling, Duclair, Murphy, Rutta, Kempny, Gustafsson, Oesterle, Kampf, Highmore, Kero, Fortin) still haven't proven whether or not they were good or bad. Like you, I certainly hope they turn out beneficial to the Hawks.

Where did he mention that?? Did you ACTUALLY read what he said??....

12. I’m amazed at the rumours out of Chicago that Joel Quenneville could be in trouble. If he wants a change, that’s one thing. But getting fired? Really? Quenneville would be unemployed as long as he wanted to be unemployed. And someone could very well drop a Babcock-style contract on him.

yes, I mentioned Friedman said Q could be in trouble. What Friedman actually said was the rumors out of Chicago that Q could be in trouble. not really a big difference. considering the last 2-3 years something needs to change.

Showing patience is fair. As long as there is a clear plan I can live with some short term pain.

Forsling with a goal and 8 shots tonight. Somebody is motivated to get back to Chicago. Love it!

This

But how will his defense be when he returns
Playing with Rutta. One of both of them for a few games somewhat here and there take the body, make a check?

Why Forsling-Murphy hasn't ever been tried as a pairing with all the shuffling is beyond me. Left-Right and quick-physical combination.

They have been, for a very short period (maybe 2 games) and it wasn't pretty. I'm with you though Enzo, I think they have the skills to compliment each other. Maybe they'll try again down the line.
