G was able to do that for the boys when he was a bit younger. It’s fun to watch.

Keys to becoming a contender are:

Goaltending- Elliott and Neuvirth are playing well but I don't think either will take you to a Cup so it will likely have to be Hart

Defense: just need to get Manning and one of AMac/Gudas out and Sanheim and one of Morin/Myers in. It's coming

Forwards: Patrick will be fine but they'll need a 3rd C to join him and Coots. My money is on Frost. Lindblom will solidify the wing next year.

I think they are a solid team now and will be the same next year, but they aren't contending before 19-20 at the earliest.

So in my opinion we just miss playoffs this year., hope they do mkae it, but I see them missing. Make playoffs in 18/19. 19/20 we win one or two rounds. 20/21 and onwards is going to be our window.

Bit of a change of guard with the league as well. Some of those teams that were at the top for years are starting to slip finally.
