the team scoring more points than the other has won the last 5 Super Bowls - jmatchett383
I'm not a huge football fan so bear with me: has a team that scored more points than the other ever lost the Super Bowl? Like maybe in the olden days? |

You want me to use my powers for evil? I mean, sure, no problem. Buy why? - jmatchett383
Because I like you and don't want you to have to miss such an event. There will be other Super Bowls for the Eagles. You can go then. |

Well I have tons of friends who are die-hards, so I want them to experience it. Plus my son would be able to say he was born after the Eagles had won it.
The Flyers is the one I really want to go to, if it ever happens. |

Yeah, by the time I left the parlor in South Jersey and got to the train station, the line was literally out the door of the station (the parade, not the train station). So I went home and watched it on TV. Still, it would be cool to go to one. I did tell my wife that, if it was the Flyers, I'd be watching the game and going to the parade no matter what. Priorities.
Also, Doc, sorry to hear that. - jmatchett383
how were the pens parades? |

The Flyers will happen, once Sanheim has received the proper amount of seasoning. |

According to my friends, they were pretty wild. Lot of hotdog/Kessel-related signs at the last one. |

Yes, the 1973 Super Bowl played between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers. Late in the game, trailing by 4 points with only seconds remaining, Tampa Bay quarterback Mike "Squishy" McGillicuddy literally murdered the entire Panthers team. Since the Panthers could not take the field, they were forced to forfeit the game. The rules have since been changed to eject players from the game following their first two homicides. |

Good point.
Yesterday I learned that NFC teams that play inside generally lose the championship game when it's played outside.
How do the teams fare in the Super Bowl when they are an outside team playing inside? |

Flyers are 12-6 since Foles took over as QB. Coincidence? I think not. |

So that means the Pats don't want to beat the Eagles? Sweet. |

I wouldn't mind a serious, but completely recoverable, injury to Brady. Murder might be a bit much. |

Shocking isn't it - Giroux_Is_God
i seriously don't understand what constitutes holding any more. as blatant to the naked eye as could possibly be, pats grabbing under the shoulder pads with both hands and driving a pass rusher out of the way. pats score touchdown. is that not holding? |
