Hainsey was amazing last night. Great signing. And more than just a hunwick replacement.

I think he has been the most pleasant surprise on the team this year.

I think jvr was benched the last 10 min. As it was brown marner and bozak to finish the game. Feeling a new line out for life after jvr?

Enjoyed watching Hughson-Simpson have to call that comeback last night. You could tell it was killing them.

How about right after Marner scores last night. He Goes- "Marner, scores." followed by 15 seconds of radio silence.

One of the prettiest goals you'll see anyone score all season and he had to mute his mic because he was pissed that the Leafs tied the game.

Boys, Dermott has looked great so far! Really impressed with his play so far. He's 100% going to be a top 4 D in the near future.

Also, really nice to hear that Marleau stepped up in the locker room during the 2nd intermission. And the boys responding with a huge come back win

Where did this Jean Dupuy come from on the Marlies? Is he young or a veteran?

I’m not sure if he played after that play where he was on the puck and then got a breakaway. It was Brown-Bozak-Marner after that, from what I can tell.

Did he maybe get hurt?

Dermott-Carrick was excellent. Carick has a had a couple good games here. Good on him, he was about to be a waiver pickup.

Great to see the comeback but it was definitely the kids stepping it up after Marleau said something and carrying the load again. Hell even Kadri started to get going and shyte disturb and elevate his game.

Same hanger on's suddenly didn't see as much ice time and in JVR's case got stapled to the bench. About damn time. Almost looked like they left Babs no choice but to stop catering to the old guys dogging it. Didn't see all that much of Komarov as well.

Time I think to turn the page on some of these guys and start running the kids out there with nothing to lose. Komarov, Bozak, JVR, Polak... get them out and start letting Brown, Leivo, Hyman, Goat have their time.

Glad to see Carrick play well and he worked pretty well with Dermott. Even CyBorg had a very good game stepping up and being physical.

Say what you will about Polak, I'm certainly not a fan, but the guy doesn't mail it in. Neither does Komarov for that matter.

Lou apperently in the past has made deals at the TDL to have less UFA's to deal with.

I wonder if they find a replacement for Bozie. And swap him out.

PIT: Bozak

TOR: Pageau

OTT: 2nd round pick(Pitt), Tamishov

Fair for all sides?

Pittsburgh gets a legit 2nd/3rd line center rental, so they don't need to commit $$$ to him unless they decide to do so.

Leafs get a controllable two way Center who is controllable for 2 more years.

Sens get a mid 2nd round pick plus a nice prospect in Tamishov.
